Small but well organised cellar shop. Colour coded beer selection and so much effort has gone into how everything is displayed. Hand written receipt listing all the beers I bought was nice and indicative of the excellent customer service. Good selection including Dogfish Head 90 min ipa. Glad I read the reviews and paid a visit.

Location near metro is excellent. Small, but very well organized. As I entered, two guys were enjoying a beer produced abut 20 miles from my home. Demonstrates the breadth of the breweries stocked. Service was better than I can recall anywhere. Got a nice La Trappe chalice for a low (IMHO) price. Indeed it is a must stop. Quaint little cellar space. Just a few blocks from the antique pissoir in NW corner of Nikolaj Plads (some location as the big church). Pissoir is also on route from metro to War Pigs!

I first visited BW in the summer of 2002, and I was not impressed; but in my more recent years in Copenhagen, mainly 2008-2013, I saw the selection growing, the passion of the owners, the help they give, so that this was my favorite go-to shop in Copenhagen, where I was sending my friends if they needed to buy a good beer. I never had a chance to visit the new location though.

Nice little basement-shop - with a hugh variety of bottles from most of Europe, UK and US. Cosy, homely with vinyl-records turning. Exellent service and a nice system of coloured labels according to type. Ok value.

Update-they accept credit cars now! A very friendly cozy shop with a decent selection of Scandinavian beer. Some U.S. Probably the most organized store I have ever visited. First beer in each row of beer has a color tag indicating style and price. Beers are mainly grouped by style also. Bought some beers from breweries that I had never heard of. In an easy to get to location. In my opinion, a must visit.

A nice little beer store, but I doubt there were 450 bottles in the shelves. Anyway, I found some good ones and service was nice. Cash only and hand written receipt. Recommended beer store! (Visited September 19th 2015)

Very friendly service. Selection is fairly small but a bit different from other stores in town. Definitely worth a visit!

Visited 15.1.15 - cozy yet spacy beer (and some wine) store right by the big shopping area. Wonderful selection of Scandinavian beers and import placed on shelves that are fun to browse as vinyl records are playing in the background. A knowledgeable, resourceful owner who’ll be happy to assist and explain. In-store drinking is acceptable for a beer or two.

Went here yesterday, was planning to go here and ølbutikken while in copenhagen for a short stopover. Had prepared a list for boyh shops. Due to time restraints i only made it here and was in a hurry. Bringing along wife and kids they were very fruendly and helpful, even gave me a free bottle from a brewery i havent tasted before. They had all the bottles I was looking for, so I was extremely happy when i left with my 17 bottles. I will be back soon.
