In a warehouse on a side street. Stopped in to pick up a growler and a pint. Decent stuff on tap, tried the barrel aged scotch ale, which was decent. Had a Sonoran Dog that was decadent. Service was prompt and polite. Would definitely go back.

A chill brewpub near UofA. They are located right near a railroad (which apparently is involved with beer pricing - you get a discount if you order beer when the train is going by. The locals and bartenders, of course, know this and time their ordering appropriately). There are a large number of taps, with a couple less-typical styles (ie coffee porter, scotch ale). All of the beers I tried were pretty good. I got a salad as well, which was tasty. It was not too crowded when I was there (Monday afternoon) but it is a smallish place, so I imagine it can fill quickly. There is a long shuffleboard table, but you have to pay to play. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Barrio. The beer is good and it’s probably the best of the Tuscon brewpubs. Worth a stop.

I last visited Barrio on a Tuesday night, and the place still got decent business. Fortunately, Barrio has enough space (with a big wrap-around bar) that the crowd isn’t really a problem. It can get a bit noisy, but the quality of the food and service can compensate for that. Barrio’s beers aren’t terribly expensive, but be ready to drop $20-25 if you want to get a bite and a slight buzz.

Large, open restraunt/bar with a bit of a little bit of a sportsbar feel too it. Staff are friendly and good variety of beer selection. Sandwiches are good.

in terms of brewpubs, this place is not your typical kind of atmosphere. however, with that said, the beer here is not too good. very hard to find as well-i even got lost when convoying with a group of people! crazy! i

neat location in an industrial side of town. Food and beer is average but there are the one or two standout beers of the bunch. Value and service has always been fair to good on all of my visits. This place serves the same beers as Gentle Ben’s on University.

Big old warehouse that you wouldn’t find unless you’re looking for it. Nice big bar and plenty of seating. The beer was great. Looking forward to my next visit.

Favorite brewpub in Tucson, pretty standard fare but a great place. Location is hard to find if you don’t know where you’re looking. Beers are fresh and there’s some seasonals Great people watching, good crowd mix. Same beer as Gentle Ben’s but I like that it’s not next to the UofA.

Great place to set outside and watch the trains go by. Excellent beer and service. Server Chelsea made the visit most pleasant. Staff that is attentive, friendly and knowledgeable certainly add value to the visit.
