| Braudog (611), Hampton, Virginia | | April 29, 2012 This is a nice, cozy and neat little tasting room nestled in a suburban industrial park. For the time being (VA’s rules change soon), they offer a $5 pint glass that comes with about 2-3 oz of each of their current taps to sample in sequence. You can also buy whatever bottles they have available and/or 64/32oz growlers of their drafts to go, including on the day we visited a seasonal only available at the brewery. The beers from Beach are packed with character, and their imperial stout being a standard-setter. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in the area. Cool little local brewery run by good people. Brewery #577. | | jeremytoni (110), Swedesboro, New Jersey | | January 15, 2012 Nice little tasting room with a good selection of their beers. | | Radek Kliber (72), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Poland | | January 12, 2012 Just of Damn Neck in new Industrial Park. Small tatsing room. Very , very friendly team that is great to have talk with. Solid beer selection that is planned only to grew better. Positive memories. Place to visit when in Virginia Beach. | | Drake (295), Charlottesville, Virginia | | July 15, 2011 Despite the nearby bucolic street names, this is an industrial park, albeit a nice one, if such a thing exists. Very small tasting room, but it remains busy. The assistant brewer was there behind the bar, and he was very friendly. Beers range from a little weak to very good. Parking is fine. They offer 32 and 64 ounce growler fills. They call the 32 ounce growlers "bombers." Growlers (screwcap) are $5, which is pretty cheap for this state. They offer samples of the full range for $5, and you get to keep the pint glass. They waive the $5 if you buy a growler. Overall, a nice stop. |
