45 reviews for Belmont Party Supply
udflyerfan07 (1), , does not count - explanation | | November 10, 2009 Seeing as how I live 2 blocks from this place, I’m terribly spoiled. Great selection though. They always get in the seasonal beers and have a great year round selection of Bells, Great Lakes, Founders, ect. If you are anywhere close to Dayton be sure to stop on in and stock up. | | vtafro (18), , New Jersey | | October 13, 2009 Made a stop here on my road trip in ohio. Had some bottles, i couldn’t find at home, feel like it could have had a better selection of local brews. | Footler (5), Wyoming does not count - explanation | | August 20, 2009 Oh yeah! Stopped here on our way to Wyoming and was totally caught off guard. They have shelves and shelves of singles, proper .5 liter bottles of the real deal (Weihenstephaner, Paulaner etc...) and very reasonably priced pony kegs. I picked up a pony of Kapuziner for 15 bucks. If in southwest Ohio, stop by Belmont’s. | | shawnm213 (42), South Bend, Indiana | | June 12, 2009 Great selection and decent prices. A lot of good stuff I can’t find in indiana. large selection of single bottles. nice place | | Bukowski9 (10), Piqua, Ohio | | April 9, 2009 Alot of beer!Once I found the place and a place to park, this is place is great.Great singles selection.Picked up a couple of Southern Tier Jah-va’s.Didn’t need much help but was asked a couple of times by the staff.Price was what I expected.Man they do have a lot of singles.I could have spent hours there and A LOT more money. Will definitely make it back here. | | osu97gp (11), Atlanta, Georgia | | February 21, 2009 This place is amazing. A huge wall of singles. Destroys any beer store in Atlanta hands down. Can get a little sketchy at night, but that only adds character to the place. | raninator84 (3), beavercreek, Ohio does not count - explanation | | February 9, 2009 A breath of fresh air in Dayton Ohio! I make it a weekly ritual to stop in. Best selection in the region hands down. Single bottle selection is amazing with a continuous change of some of the rare beers. Rogue Old Crustacean, Brooklyn Black Ops, Dog Fish Head Red & White to name a few. Worth a road trip up. Be careful easy to drive by. | CptGreencoat (3), Kettering, Ohio does not count - explanation | | January 25, 2009 Belmont Party Supply is worth visiting Dayton for. It’s a tiny little place with an overwhelming selection. Their wall of single bottles is breathtaking. | | BuckeyeBoy (58), Boise, Idaho | | August 17, 2008 A must stop that is what I have read. And It didn’t let me down. A great palce. Also a very updated web page. I had a long list. One of the guys in the store looked over my list and stated pulling bottle off the shelf. It was sweet. Tons of OHIO brews. | | glkaiser (38), Seattle, Washington | | July 30, 2008 FANTASTIC selection. Lots of gems that I can’t get out west....I wish I could load up a car and drive a shipment back. As it is, I bought more than I can check in my bag.
Reasonable prices, great selection. A kind of odd feeling place, and the staff seemed a bit clueless, but that shouldn’t stop you from checking it out. Must hit if in the Dayton area.
I mentioned to someone at the office I was visiting that I would be hitting this place, and they tried to talk me out of it, saying that they used to buy liquor here when they were in high school / college and they guaranteed me that the selection is nothing special. Yeah, they’re a fucking idiot. |
