Visited March 1, 2013 at noon. A relatively young brewery (opened in fall 2012 I think) and it has a good clientele. The brewery is open to the public only three days (I was there on Friday) and the opening (noon), already half a dozen there awaiting. Simple looking place, next to a art gallery. Small tap room slash store, only four beers on tap but they a bit more for sale. The four beer that was on tap where quite good, better than what you usually get in Ottawa, it’s four for $4, or free if you get a 64 oz or two 32 oz growlers. I like the 32 oz, they look like big medicine bottles. They do have also 22 oz bottle for some of their beers. Parking is street only, on Hamilton Avenue is free for a hour, but you don’t need more than that. So if your in town on the weekend, this is a must visit.

What a great little place. Close to my work place, located in what used to be part of the upholstery store next door. 4 to 5 taps at any time, of pretty good offerings, above average of the Ottawa market, access to the brewer, stop in when your in town!

In an interesting spot in rapidly transforming hintonberg area. Looks like renos still ongoing. Nice tasting bar. All the people working on the day I visited were awesome. Head brewer was happy to talk beer with us, and everyone just seemed to really love what they were doing. I’ll come back to this rating as they grow into their skin a bit more. For now, very excited about this place!

Great place to stop into for a few growlers and sample the beers. Staff know their stuff and the brewers are passionate.
