Oh hell yeah. Besides the very tasty pizza, this place was a very nice tap menu and a great bottle menu as well. Prices are solid, as was the heavenly Two Hearted on cask. Easily the best beer location in DC, and the only one I’d even want to go back to.

Great place. Good pizza and good beer. Service was excellent. Bartender was cool and bar manager was cool. Solid tap list and a very nice ’special bottle’ list. I had an alpha king, gordon, and struiselensis, tsjeeses. I was even offered a 08 Darklord. Crazy good selection and a more enjoyable stop than the brickskeller. Hell, they even had New Glarus Belgian Red...good luck finding that anywhere outside of wi (good thing i live in wi).

Great place in Georgetown that does a nice job of putting together a good beer selection (both draft and bottles). The day I visited I had a cask conditioned version of Troegs Pale Ale and a Clipper City Red Sky at Night. They even offer a sampler if you have trouble deciding. Oh, and did I mention their pizza is excellent?

This is a fine place. The current manager, Greg J., is very beer knowledgeable and will make your visit a good one if he’s around. Once he hears that you are a RateBeerian, he’ll try to find something special for you not listed on the menu. Yes, it is small and very crowded, but what do you expect for such a trendy thing as high-end beer in G’town? This is no Brickskeller, but whoo-boy they’re off to a great start. Just give ’em 50 years...

While possibly expensive (not as much as others in DC) for most, this provides the best combination of food and beer in DC given the cost. The Tuesday and Wednesday happy hours are when the beer geeks sneak in and corner the corner downstairs. The pizza, given it’s name, is excellent and the matching with the beers is quite well done. What they have on tap is interesting and broad in style and ABV content. For the 2 hours that HH lasts, if you’re up for it, you can sneak 6-8 beers and still be able to stumble out if you know what you’re doing. It’s not so much a hidden secret but a place that seemingly is ignored due to its out-of-the-way location from most office locations and is annoying to get to if you’re not on foot or living near by. Still, highly recommended (and the staff are friendly, nice, and relatively well-educated in the beer they do serve.. well, some of them)

small restaurant in georgetown. quite a hike to get to from a metro station. very decent selection of beer, all the proper glassware. servers were pretty helpful and friendly. had a rochefort 10 and the mussels pizza, both of which were excellent. they do a good happy hour on tuesdays. for one beer and one personal pizza it was $22, not bad for what you get. pretty casual place with a good atmosphere. was a little crowded when i was there (dinner on a friday evening). definately reccomended if you’re in the area!

Very cool spot. Possibly the most high-quality list I’ve ever seen, not that I’m extremely well traveled. Choice American and Belgian drafts with some unique picks like Victory Braumeister Pils. A prosciutto and goat cheese pizza was well done - you can create your own which is nice. Atmosphere could have been perfect (to me), like a laid back European pub where you can sit for hours. But it was brutally loud, so much so that for me and my companions it was pointless to even try to talk to each other. And this was a tuesday. I guess this might be an afternoon type of place.
