The best Bishop Arms in town. The peronal maybe not have the highest knowledge. A fairly good selection on both bottle and tap. Prices are ok. Good food.

I think this is the best Bishops Arms in Goteborg. Very good selection of beers mostly on bottles but you can find some interesting taps too. Friendly and very helpful staff.

Very british and typical Bishop Arms interior. A nice selection of beer. Both on tap and bottles. Nice location at Järntorget.

Cosy and friendly pub in a good location. The beer range is good and the interior is similar to many of the other Bishops Arms pubs. Worth visiting.

Nice big cosey pub in Bishop Arms style. Very friendly service. Huge selection. 20 taps, and one special strong porter made especially for this place.

Archtypical English pub atmosphere, and some tables and chairs outside. Tap selection was good, lots of swedish, a few cask (including NC Red Seal Pale Ale). A very good bottle list too, including some long lost gems - Ølfabrikken Islay Cask Stout, Winter Porter, Nøgne Ø Imperial Stout Highland Edition etc. Prices are pretty expensive as with all swedish places, but pretty much in the same area as other Swedish beer places. I had two different vintage of Närke Stormaktsporter - 2005 and 2008 (they also had 2006), and they were priced at 205 and 195 SEK. The Kaggen Stormaktsporter was on the menu, but they were out of it none the less. The Kaggen was 125 SEK cheaper than it is at The Rover.

A good spacious bar, and almost certainly the top Bishops Arms in Goteberg. Very interesting bottle selection including numerous vintages of Stormaktporter as well as some top beers from around the world. Well worth a visit.

This place is pretty typical of other Bishops Arms locations I’ve been, with a pretty decent tap selection. It was open on a Sunday, but closed pretty early, so it’s hard to comment on atmosphere. But worth trying just for the tap list.

The Bishop’s Arms pub at Järntorget in Göteborg have the best beer selection of the three Bishop’s Arms pubs in Göteborg, with a nice draft selection (Weyerbacher, Amager and Närke on my last visit) and lots of good stuff on bottles - including old bottles of Närke Kaggen, Ølfabrikken Winterporter and Nøgne Ø Dark Horizon. If that isn’t enough to warrant a visit, their house beer is Ocean Arbetarporter - a delicious imperial porter from Oceanbryggeriet only sold on draft here. Finally, Järntorget opens at noon on Saturdays and Sundays and is thus perfect for an early visit by beer tourists :) Last visit: Feb 4, 2012.

Visited on a busy friday afternoon, the place was crowded, managed to get a seat after 5 min. This place looked a bit smaller than the other Bishops Arms that I have visited. The beers on tap seems to be taken from the Carlsberg selection, not a lot exciting, except those 5 beers from Swedish micros, announced on a small black board by the bar. Excellent food, and fast service.
