I visited during a Saturday where HornBeer’s recent achievements in national and World Beer Cups were celebrated with live music, discounts and servings by the brewer himself. Good atmosphere if somewhat noisy as the place is both a bottleshop and a bar/café. However, this yields longer opening hours for those wishing to visit the shop during a Saturday for example. I found the selection to be broader than the average but perhaps somewhat conventional. I.e. more Belgian and English beer than American microbrew. The Danish beer section has a bit of Mikkeller, Djævlebryg and Det Lille Bryggeri but other than that it’s the more conventional Danish microbrewers on offer here (such as Herslev and HornBeer). Also the prices were higher than I would have expected. I was not offered any service or advice during my 45 minutes of perusing the shelves as the staff were generally busy behind the bar serving other people. I would pay a visit if I were in the neighbourhood to visit the Viking Museum or for the Roskilde Festival but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit.

Lots of beers, but many beers which I can get a lot cheaper many other places. But a great lifestyle shop-

My favoritre beerstore in Denmark. Very cosy, very nice people - and you can always find new beers, you didn’t know. A great homepage too.

Very cosy bottle shop that has about 600 different beers along with lots of other interesting goods as whisky chocolate and so on. Staff is professional and prices are fair compared to the regular DK market.

Beers, cider, wine, whisky, rum, cognac, coffee, choccolate and more. They even have a restaurant now. Have not tried it though. Selection of beer is good with a basis of good British, American, German, Belgian and Danish as well as new ones coming in at frequent intervals. The staff knows their stuff and is always willing to assist. Beers are not cheap but where in Denmark are they that.

A pretty chaotic place with nice stuff everywhere - on the shelves, on the floor, in boxes on the tables. The beer section has a nice varirity and they use some of the good importers so the selection is great with both danish micros and forreign / american stuff. For whisky and cognac lovers this place is fantastic. A huge table with all their bottles opened ready for tasting is situated in the middle of the room...dont drive to this place. Have a lot of other quality and gourmet stuff like cheece, fabrick, soaps etc. Friendly staff.

[Visited with the duo Svoger & Svogergylp on Orø.] Fantastic place where it is possible to sample in-/outside. Lots of beers from all over the world especially microbrew. Found more than 50 beers never rated before. A mustplace for everyone.

Visited several times. Cozy shop with a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits. Food also available now. They have their own bar with taps. You can have your beer served at a reasonable price. They arrange taste events, music, travels etc.

Huge selection of beers from many places in the world. Large selection of Danish microbrewa wich are not always easily available. Friendly and very helpfull staff. Only small selection of ciders, but some rare ones can be found.
