Hidden well in an alley, small place, reasonable selection of beers. Jazz and bluess is choice off music here.

Selection and prices are not as good as some of the other choices in Leuven, but it has atmosphere, and music. And smoke.

For Leuven this is a overpriced location (Orval for 3,80 € when it was in other places available down to 3 €). The waitress was a bit slow and definitely not trained in pouring belgium beers from the bottle. Overall not very impressing.

I was the only one there except for the waitress when I visited it - it had just opened for the night. Small and dark but cool. Good selection of beers but I only had time for one, and I got Verboden Vrucht as it’s according to them retired. Likable place overall with a very good selection, thought Fiere Margriet seems to be running circles around it when it comes to selection now.

interesting selection

It’s a "jazz" café, with an awesome selection of beers. It think it has the broadest selection in whole leuven. It’s small, so it can be quite crowded and loud. Very nice bar, the guy at the counter knows a lot about beer too!

Dingy, smoky, decrepit. Perfect place for blues and beer. Great selection, great music. You should stop in.

Probably the best selection of beer in Leuven nowadays, though the town’s beer scene is rocking since InBev went so obviously South American / Global / non-Belgian. Relatively little rock here though - strictly blues and jazz, with an extraordinary collection of older and modern stuff. Must go if in town. Take night vision aids.
