42 AMBIANCE 1/5 SERVICE 2/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 11/20 jde123 (65) Washington, Washington DC | July 12, 2011 Now, I’m not one to complain about having to buy beer through a plastic, bullet-proof window, complete with a revolving door through which the beer goes to be handled by the cashier, so that absolutely no possibility of touching or robbery takes place, but it seems that the neighborhood may be slightly beyond that at this point. At any rate, you can always find at least one surprising/out of place selection here, that can’t be found at the other liquor store across the street. Terrible ambience and clientele, but the staff are pleasant enough, and if you are in the market for some cheap knockoff sunglass or other goods, there is a guy who sits in the corner near the front door that you can buy things from.
