Didnít really plan a stop at this place. But someone really had to use the restroom, so we decided to go anyways. Wanted to do a tasting flight. Ended up doing two of them and have a dessert as well. The ice pie was soo good! And it was huge! Iíd probably drop by for a quick stop when around again. Their blueberry beer where they actually really trow in a few blueberries is weird though.

Nice enough brewpub. Had a tasty fried haddock sandwich. Had a flight of 4 beers to sample; 3 were fine, one was very good ("Contender IPA"). They were out of the two "big beers", which was disappointing. But overall I was not disappointed - a good meal with some decent beer.

Not really fussed about this location. I found the beers I had in the flight disappointing. The pizzas were average at best. Staff were fine during a busy evening. Good for the ticks but not a must visit.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. Almost empty at first, but there was a lineup by the time we were done. Huge place with tons of seating. Sports bar interior, tons of jumbo TVís all set to sport channels. Their housebeers are not bad at all considering the "commercial" setup of the place, some are completely boring but the hoppy ones I had were quite ok actually. Prices are quite decent, we had some flights and an appetizer. Service was a bit tacky, not knowledgeable about beer but efficient. Not a place Iíd revisit a ton, but worth some time.

Very nice location, especially after watching an event at TD Garden, but somehow the atmosphere was way too clinical for me, especially at the bar. No atmosphere, aluminium bar, bad smell from the kitchen. Seems to be a nice selection of their own beers, the price is decent and the service too, but I had absolutely no desire to stay here for a second glass.

Small chain brewpub. Beer is what youíd expect though slightly above average for brewpubs. Food is pub fare - pretty good. Nothing crazy. Worth checking out if you are in Boston.

Visited on 7/22/12. A: The place has the feel of a huge sportsbar/microbrewery. It has tons of seating, two levels, and a smaller outdoor patio for seating. Q: Slightly Above Average were the beers that we tried but nothing thatíll make you go out of your way to come here. S: Our server was okay, semi knowledgable about the beers they served but was hard to find at times, especially given that the place was dead when we went. S: A nice variety of different beers, I believe they offered 16 in house beers that covered the gambit well enough. F: Decent for bar food but nothing better than your average chain. V: Decent value, beers and food were priced well and on par for the area and quality that they were serving Overall, if your in the area then recommend stopping in but not a place youíd go out of your way for.

This is a large restaurant with the ambiance of a big chain brewpub. Much of the regular tap selection is fairly mundane with a few more interesting things on the rotating taps. The beer itself was okay. I just had some nachos for a snack, which were very tasty. It wasnít busy during my 2:00 on a Friday visit. Itís worth checking out if youíre in the neighborhood.

The Beer Works in Canal Street is one of a small chain of brewpubs. Itís a cavernous factory style building with bare brickwork, exposed pipes and vents and an interior that looks as if itís been built out of meccano. It can get busy on match days because itís just round the corner from the Bruins stadium. The bar is wrapped around the brewing kit. As youíd expect, all the beers are usually in good condition and itís served in 12, 16 and 22 oz glasses. I seem to remember from previous visits that the food is OK, with a regular menu going beyond the usual burgers. (Last visited 26 October 2012).

Decent beer and good service at this place. Parking is terrible! I canít imagine that place when a game is going on down the street.
