| NachlamSie (358), Tennessee | | May 24, 2012 Holy crap. Just go here. Anything that is available in the area is here. Hair of the Dog, many lambics, obscure European stuff, one-offs, rarities, etc Looks like a lot of this stuff moves too. There’s also a small bar with 9 rotating taps. Amazing. | | Petronius (24), Seattle, Washington | | April 20, 2012 I usually go there for Baltika Rye - in fact, I don’t think you can get it elsewhere in town. In spirit, you can often find very random beer, but then they won’t have something you’d expect a beer store to carry. Great stuff and taps. Hop flavored candy - cool. The crowd is pretty hilarious - "Excuse me, I’m just trying to reach those Pliny the Elder bottles at where you’re standing". | poisoneddwarf (9), Rathdrum, Idaho does not count - explanation | | April 13, 2012 Little shop with a large selection of every type of beer. It seems like the imports are more prevalent than American craft, although it does have a nice selection of both. The organization seems a little chaotic compared to other bottle shops I’ve been to. Also, nothing (that I could see) is priced. Some of the beers have shelf tags with the price on them, but the large majority don’t. When I got up to the register with all my beer, I had no idea how much money I had just spent til the guy behind the counter rang it up. I like the fact that it’s all kept cold. It looks like they got a bunch of second hand coolers from grocery stores to keep the beer cold, but that just adds to the place’s character. The four or five taps of good beer is a nice touch. Because of this place, I was able to get a number of beers from countries not available where I live. | | camelorama (11), , | | February 11, 2012 Great place to find that off the wall beer your looking for...also great when the bars around it have nothing but crap ...this really is what the term "hole in the wall" means | | MarinaMarket (12), POULSBO, Washington | | February 8, 2012 Not as many bottles as I thought there would be. Goofy electrical tape over florescent lamps, rather than UV filters. Good selection though, and very helpful staff. | | Smurf2055 (22), Seattle, Washington | | December 9, 2011 Pretty dark and musty, but a good place none the less. Very good selection with good prices. You can get some pretty cool finds. Recently picked up a batch 36 of HotD Fred, and they had a Barleywine that was older than that. No food. Staff is friendly and helpful, but seems like they have a lot of work to do. I’m in walking distance, so I’m there quite a bit. | | adnielsen (277), Fort Collins, Colorado | | August 8, 2011 Pretty good selection but I guess I was expecting a world class selection. The number of bottles did not seem close to 1,000 as this page states. I did grab a few cool bottles including some HOTD. | | eboats (32), Omaha, Nebraska | | July 31, 2011 Fun place with a good selection. Some taps in your bottle store and a couple of tables to sit at and drink any bottles you buy, or try some taps. Outstanding. | | Matts_Property (27), Vancouver, British Columbia | | July 19, 2011 Nice atmosphere, good selection, staff aren’t always that friendly - i guess it depends who you get. I like the mini-bar idea. | | CampesinoTino (57), Seattle, Washington | | May 30, 2011 Definitely one of the top bottle shops in Seattle for rare and obscure beer hunters. It can be a little challenging to browse and sip beer when it’s crowded though as it’s a fairly small space compared to other shops of this style. |
