If you like modern and elegant places the 4:20 is what you are looking for. The prices of the bottles are too high for the italian average, but the ambiance and the staff make the expense worthwhile. The owner is not one of the best person I’ve ever met, but his passion for beer (and money) is what make the place a benchmark of Rome’s craft beer scene.

We made a special effort to get over to this place, it was along a dark road, at night but the neon sign was a welcome indication that we were there. Inside it was warm and friendly, we had booked and we were reserved a table right at the far end. It was a bit of a mission to get to see the beer taps to try, my Italian wasn’t up to the job really, but got there in the end. The food is reasonable and the ambiance is good, I would have prefered to be in the bar area, but we enjoyed the experience anyway.

In a way, the complete opposite of Macche: it’s big, airy, with a lot of excellent food. On the other hand the love for beer is exactly the same, the staff is equally friendly and competent, probably even more daring and experimental in their selection. Just a bit expensive, but you get what you’re paying for. Don’t miss it.

Perfetto per una serata tra amici rigorosamente conoscitori del mondo delle birre artigianali..! ottimo il cibo !! ambiente bello e vario nella sala interna ed alla veranda superiore ottimi arrosticini e birra all’aperto !! Fantastico...!

Il posto è arredato veramente con gusto! Mi ha colpita subito! Ottima selezione di birre, soprattutto straniere. Il personale molto esperto e disponibile.. super consigliato!
