i like this place especially for it’s central location just off alex platz .. i never tried the food but seemed to me pretty standard .. the beer atre good but not exceptional, i prefer the original than pilsner and i enjoied the marzen as well ... the service is professional but not very frindly ..

Got more of a restaurant feel than a brewpub, good location and nice interior, even though the beers are nothing exceptional, nice patio,even if you isn´t a trainspotter.

Avoid this place at any cost. I came to this place today just to be insulted. I came to the place, had a look around, then approached the waiter and asked in English (sorry, I never studied German) “Can I have a lunch here”, the waiter said “No” and left as if I wasn’t welcome at that place. If I was an owner of that place I would fire that guy right away. It was the very first place I visited after arriving to Germany, and I had a very warm welcome, didn’t I? There are better places nearby, just 2 minutes away. Visited on 9 April 2012.

Good german brauhaus!! Love the flammenkuchen. Nice beer tasting set as well

Great place. Solid beer range, all of them high quality. Lovely setting, very classy. Good food options; we had the tomato soup, which was quite tasty. Pleasant waiter. Average prices. They offer a tasting sampler of the four beers they carry (three regular, one seasonal), so that’s nice. Very convenient location. A must visit for Berlin.

The original Lemke, under the east-west railway line ("S-Bahn Bogen") in the centre of Berlin. Food and beers are about standard German Hausbrauerei. Location is nice, in the back garden you can hear and see trains passing just overhead.

Nice enough looking place on the way from Alexanderplatz to Hackescher Markt. The waiters were looking quite bored and seemed not really in the mood to help us much. The beers were OK, decent zwickel, the other beers were not quite to write home about.

Decent location for these guys, but I was well, rather unimpressed with the service, and though there are good ’chainish’ brewpub offerings to be had here, there are also strange misturns and confusing style deviations. Might be worth the ticks (a sampler of four) but I wouldn’t exactly rush.

Very nice place under railway tracks. Not so peaceful but shaded patio. Also sampler of 4 beers, including very good seasonal named Nordisch Gut. The food looked and smelld good but, but we didn’t have time for it. Better and a bit cheaper than Mitte.
