We visited here on Friday 16th January 2015 we being me & Loz. Having read the reviews I was expecting this to be smaller than it actually turned out to be. Its certainly bigger than Bristol, Newcastle, Camden & Leeds (the latter is surely the smallest in the chain?) It is located just a few doors up & across from Rough Trade which itself has a bar upstairs with Crate on tap & Wiper & True, Beavertown etc in bottles. Anyway back to Brewdog, the interior style/appearance is well known so I donít need to explain, i.e. Industrial. It seems to be oblong in shape and slightly at an angle with windows onto the street down one side. A couple of seating nooks & crannies can be found, we sat in one down the far end away from the bar. Beer choice was fine we both had Libertine but one being the spiced version via the Hopinator with 20% discount for beers & food with my Brewdog card, being very handy. Beer choice maybe not quite as good as some in the chain, I had one of the new prototypes íHop Fictioní next, ok but more Pale Ale than IPA surely? We shared a taco which was very good and quite hot, really enjoyable. Staff were really friendly and more than happy to offer samples, in fact they were really lovely. This was a decent Brewdog bar, and with Rough Trade just along and across it is well placed.

Great pub. In a region where many pubs serve a local musty ale or a flavorless imported lager this place is an oasis of flavor and service. Drove an hour to get here and it was worth it. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and very very helpful.

Stupid prices for beers like any other brewdog bar. Food choice is limited and the bar struggles with noisiness and is often too busy at weekends. Seating isnít very comfortable either. Look out for the chalk boards in the toilets....

Last visited in October 2014. Usual BrewDog industrial style decor but it does feel a little more cosy and less hipster-ish than some other branches Iíve visited. Rather quiet when we visited but it was a Monday evening so I guess thatís to be expected.
Service was welcoming and enthusiastic. On tap were the usual BrewDog beers and not too much in the way of guests. There was only one new draught beer for me so had to resort to bottles after that.
Thereís no full kitchen so the food options are limited but the meat and cheese platters are very good.
Definitely worth a visit but, having been in the vanguard for introducing "craft keg" to Nottingham there are to my mind other places that do it just as well, if not better, (and more besides) now - Crafty Crow, Canalhouse, Junkyard for example.

Nice Brewdog bar. Usual beer selection, nice interior , bonus points for the legendary mens toilets and the game consoles. Staff are friendly and let you do tastes and give you good advice. Nice

A decent but not overwhelming branch of the craft breweryís pub chain. Typical quasi-dystopian industrial look, but smaller (and far less achingly hipster) than their London mainstays or newer behemoths. Only five beers offered outside of BrewDogís core range, but by anywhere elseís standards that is still pretty good. A Malaysian street food restaurant sits temptingly in the same building.

It was quiet in there on a Friday lunch time but whatís not to like with this place. Not beer to other BrewDog bars but after this I certainly will.

OK, this place serves some interesting beer, but it is scandalously expensive. Their fridges were full of beers Iíd have liked to try, but all but a handful cost over £10 a pop. Most were around the £15 mark. I donít mind paying a bit extra for good beer, but thatís taking the piss. Aside from that the staff were exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly and I like the feel of the place. The beer selection didnít compare to the much better Canalhouse for me.

The ambiance may be nothing like a traditional pub but the beer selection more than makes up for the industrial decor. Everything from light 3.8% hop bombs to 11% ABV barrel aged beers are available. Prices are not cheap but neither are they outrageous. As a bonus you can get sips of both Tactical Nuclear Penguin and Sink the Bismarck without emptying your wallet (about £5 each).

If I go back to Nottingham this will be high on my list of places to visit. I am sure it probably gets busy at some point but at 3:00 PM on a weekday it was just myself, the bartenders, and another couple. If you like more company wing by in the evenings when I imagine it gets much busier.
