Visited on 2-17-2013. Their beers are 3.2ABV per Oklahoma law. They had five of their own beer plus brewers pick. They have 39 bottled beers on their Guest list. The establishment is clean, nice atmosphere and a friendly staff. The food was average.

A regional chain brewpub that offers beers of questionable quality at decent prices. Sort of like the Oklahoma version of Boscoís. The place is large, with plenty of space dedicated to food service. A sizable brew kit (who knows if they actually brew here) is visible behind the bar. I tried a flight of house beers and was generally unimpressed. My bartender was pretty nice, but not all that knowledgeable about the beers on offer. This place really is only of appeal unless you want some cheap ticks that score in the middle-2 range. Overall, maybe worth a stop. Itís really close to TapWerks, so itís not much extra effort to visit.

A stunning location and that is all. Sub par food and beer with decent service. At least they have guest bottles.

Well, not much good to say about this place. Beers were not that good and neither was service. Skip this place and head to the Tapwerks Bricktown.

A large brewery with a restaurant downstairs and a larger bar and dance area up stairs. The place seems like is caught in between what it wants to be... Service has been a bit slow on my few visits. Six taps available with one that is rotating, the beer is subpar overall. Food is good, pretty standard for a brewpub. Prices are fine for the area, but I donít really stop in except to tick.

This place in OKC gets it for the food - at least, the Brewerís Club sandwich which was a knockout. Also consumed, an equally delicious Grilled Salmon Club. On a Tuesday evening, the kitchen should not have been so slow..plus a lot of training going on.

Service was a problem as it was standing room only for about 2 hours before we were granted a small table. Service was as lousy as the wait and I had about two beers before I was determined to move to less crowded accomodations. Upstairs area was limited seating and had a similar sardine-feeling as experienced downstairs. Waiter having a bad day probably did not improve the situation. What do you know, I havenít been back since.

I believe most of the beer here was 3.2pct or lower. Even if it wasnít, this beer was the worst, nothing close to fully attenuated product, astringency party masked by sugary leftover malts, and a bar tender that was annoying as all get out (and drunk). Did not have the food, but based on the beer, I didnít want any. Too bad we commited to the growler before drinking a glass, because what was leftover and taken home never got consumed.

I had not stepped inside The Bricktown Brewery in years because of the awful beer. I seek out brewpubs everywhere I travel; to avoid one in my own state is unusual. In fact, my recommendation to out of state beer seekers is, "Any of the brewpubs except Bricktown."
This week, however, my company hosted an end of quarter event at The Bricktown Brewery. Out of principle I ordered the Light Amber hoping to be proved wrong. I coulnít finish the pint. There are so many flaws with the beer I do not know where to begin. Flat, lifeless, sour, overload of diacetyl, tastes of Lemon Pledge. To add insult to injury, my coworker ordered the dark ale (brown ale or stout, Iím not sure). It was served to him in a frosted glass!
Advertisements for The Bricktown Brewery included nightly drink specials, military discounts, ladies night, live music, theme nights hosted by local radio stations, etc. The only mention of craft beer is found in the restaurantís name.
I do not recommend any of craft beers at The Bricktown Brewery. I am embarrassed to think that visitors to Oklahoma City are more likely to visit The Bricktown Brewery rather than any other brewpub in the city. The restaurantís location seems to be the only thing it has going for it.
