| troyc (147), Oklahoma | | November 16, 2011 The Pros- Good selection (not great though) and beer prices that are about 10% cheaper than anywhere else in town. Most convienent liquor store to downtown with a decent beer selection.
The Cons- Shady area with staff that know nothing about the beer they stock. No single bottles. I got carded three times while in the store, so keep your ID handy.
| notmarr2000 (7), Lawton, Oklahoma does not count - explanation | | August 31, 2011 Ghetto liquor store. Very good if you want to buy common brands in bulk. Selection is OK but often no more than a 6 pack or two on the shelf at times. Overrated a bit on price but still less expensive than most other stores due to volume. | | WesKBob (20), Bethany, Oklahoma | | March 30, 2011 Not in the greatest neighborhood, and the ailes are narrow and crowded. But they have a decent selection and the staff is surprisingly knowledgeable. Doesn’t have quite the beer selection as Grand Cru, but prices are reasonable for what they have.
They definitely specialize in wine and liquor, and if was reviewing for that the rating woud be significantly higher. | | HopHunter (10), Oklahoma | | September 18, 2009 Big store with a big selection, but it seemed unless they know you they aren’t too quick to help you. | | Hbuck72 (10), Chickasha, Oklahoma | | March 10, 2009 A pretty good selection of beers for OKC, not as much selection as The Cellar, but still pretty good. I wish they sold single bottles so that you can try new styles.
Bad part of town, but it is one of the cheapest places in town. | lumpsowers (3), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma does not count - explanation | | September 13, 2008 Lousy beer selection, no make your own six packs, lots of scary homeless people. That being said, if you can find something you want it is the cheapest place in town, by as much as 20%. Extensive wine selection as well. | | tylerss20 (10), New Hampshire | | May 13, 2008 Beer selection is just better than average in this otherwise excellent liquor store. Huge wine selection. Staff is friendly, but beer is obviously not their thing. Decent for an oklahoma store. I saw a handful of Belgian and German brews. Quite a few southern and midwest micros, and an entire shelf was seemingly dedicated to mexican beer. I did see most of the Rogue lineup there however. Definitely one of the better stops in OKC. | | mattcoats (17), Omaha, Nebraska | | March 23, 2007 Pretty good selection, no singles and for as large as it is, not much beer all considering. | chrisok (2), Norman, Oklahoma does not count - explanation | | February 24, 2007 Not much for ambiance, but to me that’s not why I’d go there. They are pretty much the cheapest place, with a great selection. The only drawback is, as has already been mentioned, they don’t really have much in the way of singles. Other than that, you really can’t beat them. | | jetzler (11), oklahoma city , Oklahoma | | April 10, 2006 Good selection with good rotation. They feature all the beer available in OKC without pretention, staff will not help you but the selection is good and cheap. You get what you pay for at byrojn.s |
