| MiP (13), Sønderborg, Denmark | | October 5, 2009 Good atmosphere, but a quite limited selection of beers. | mbuisman79 (6), Amsterdam, Netherlands does not count - explanation | | September 27, 2009 Nicely located next to a canal and a square. Has a nice outside patio. Average selection and no special ones. Strangely enough only 6 beers on tap, and no local beers, even though Utrecht has de Leckere and more. Enough space during the day, seem to be a lot of students.
Paid 3,20 for a tapped Zeezuiper | | NoiZe (49), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands | | September 30, 2008 Nice place to have a beer. Not too special brews, only the monthly T.A.P. draft is interesting. Still nice to visit when going to Bert’s Bierhuis beershop. When crowded it gets too fuill. | | Rastacouere (475), Montréal, Quebec | | September 10, 2007 A bar in the South of Utrecht’s center that attracts mostly students. Pretty laid-back interior with dark lighting even during the day, but the terrace is wide and welcomes a lot of people in this theater and canal district. The selection is good, if not great. You may not get many new beers here, but there should be something that you feel like drinking. I had an excellent Weihenstephaner Vitus. | messymatt (3), , Netherlands does not count - explanation | | August 14, 2006 The friendliest place in Utrecht, great terrace and service and good selection of beers. | | TBone (123), Pori, Finland | | July 29, 2005 This is a tourist kind of place with a decent beer menu (including Lapin Kulta from Finland and De Leckere beers). | | Hunsell (43), Amsterdam, Netherlands | | April 20, 2005 Chess- and beercafe. Very light, small and mostly crowded. Selection is OK, Utrechts Bok available. | | skortila (65), Bunnik, Netherlands | | September 11, 2004 This cafe organises together with bert’s bierhuis some beer-evebnts through the year, like the utrecht’s bokbier festival, the beermarket. Good selection. Mostly belgian ales. | | caesar (119), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands | | January 14, 2004 [ Updated October 8, 2005 ] Update: July 2005. The owner of Ledig Erf has sold his bar. Now, the interior has become more classy and trendy, the chess-players have gone. But still they offer good beers and the atmosphere is still good, though different from before.
Last month (dec 2003) they had Trois Pistoles on tap, so i guess their selection is quite ok! The seasonals in this bar are one of the main reasons to go. Always a good variety on tap. Ledig Erf is a typical game playing cafe: around you people are playing chess, backgammon or other games. Quite crowdy, though quite silent, bar and not much place to sit. |
