| craftbeerdesign (92), Alpharetta, Georgia | | May 22, 2012 Great tapas / pizza / pasta place near CSU in FC with a solid tap list for a restaurant like this. They do tasting paddles as well. Food was really good. Nice ambiance outside. | Dunl1122 (5), Durango , Colorado does not count - explanation | | April 14, 2011 Went there for the first time on 4/9/11. Great beer choices (they had Odell’s Friek on tap). Got the mussels and that was good. Best part of Cafe Vino was service -- everyone was accommodating and wanted to make sure we were taken care of. I would go back there again for a date night/relaxing night for wine. The patio is great. | | Beaver (13), Fort Collins, Colorado | | November 3, 2010 Cafe Vino is a coffee shop with food and a good selection of beer. Food is pretty good tapas, and a selection of sandwiches at lunch. The beer rotates and usually has something interesting. They’ll frequently have Pliney and St Bernandus Abt 12, but the selection for the taps could be a bit better IMO. It’s also a bit pricey. | | adnielsen (277), Fort Collins, Colorado | | October 13, 2010 Great place to find a lot of beers on tap that you can’t find elsewhere in Fort Collins. I had Pliny the Elder on tap there the other night and they also usually have an experimental beer or two by New Belgium and O’Dells. The service is sometimes quite poor and the prices can be a bit high ($12 for a 330mL of Rochefort 10). It should definitely be on a Fort Collins beer tour once you’re done with the breweries. | | rotoguru (12), Fort Collins, Colorado | | March 18, 2010 Very nice place, nice atmosphere (dark, slight "upscale" feel) with patio (traffic noise from busy road). Service has been mixed, sometimes lame, sometimes good, sometimes great. Very good beer selection with many hard to find brews! The food is not typical but very good. Unfortunately, both brew and food come at a fairly high price compared to others which is the biggest knock on this place. Better atmosphere lends itself to taking a date here and still getting a great beer. | coloradokid (1), does not count - explanation | | October 21, 2009 This is a cool place. European bistro feel. Lots of nooks to settle in, fireplace in winter, deck and firepits outside in summer. Good eats. You will find alll types and ages, from CSU coeds to professionals. They drink a lot of different stuff here...bier, wine, martininis, mixed-drinks.
We’re here for the BEER: Some unusual and frequently changing selections. Several local Colorado brews along with regionals and a few imports. Decent glassware. Fairly knowledgable tenders. My only biotch: no German brews (thinking Augustiner or Bitburger) ..what?!!!
Go, try. | | 3fourths (962), Boulder, Colorado | | December 29, 2008 The atmosphere seems more like a late-night happy hour lounge than a beer bar - low light, glossy table and bar tops, servers a little over-dressed and with a little too much attitude. But the beer selection is respectable, including a few Lips of Faith selections from New Belgium. There are more comfortable places to drink in FC, though, such as Catalyst. | Oxymoron (1), Fort Collins, Colorado does not count - explanation | | February 28, 2008 Easy enough to find on College next to the university. Rather small wine bar but makes efficient enough room with its space. Place seems to be hoppin at any time you go. An extensive wine list but only about 15 or so beers. Mostly Belgian, St Bernardus, Saison Dupont, Chimay but some local as well, Avery, New Belgium, Odells. The food menu was limited with mostly tappas but some dinners that were an extension of those. Not much quantity and pricey but very very good quality. The staff was friendly enough but didn’t really have much time to talk or ask questions. Seems more of a fancy place but good quality. | AMcFate (1), Fort Collins, Colorado does not count - explanation | | February 18, 2008 A place the Front Range definately needed. Brilliant beer and wine with and excellent tapas list. | BarSpartan (1), does not count - explanation | | February 11, 2008 I stopped by Cafe Vino and was quite impressed. The vibe alone offered a feeling much needed to the homogenous front range. But a diverse tapas menu and the most creative handle selection north of Boulder Avery Reverend, Stone Ruination, Saison Dupont, Chimay Triple and St. Bernardus Abt 12 to name a few, made the place a new home for me when I am in this area. |
