A must visit destination for a true beer lover. Visiting the place feels like walking back in history and seeing how things were really done. Once inside, the aromas of the beer will ignite you. I did the self tour, they give you a book with instructions and explanations of each of the rooms. Its really user friendly. The staff here are highly dedicated and very informative. Feel free to discuss about beer. You receive two samples after your tour and if you like more its served at a reasonable price.

This place is worth visiting whether you’re a fan of lambic or not. It’s great to see the history and tradition of the place and sample the beers at the end of a tour. The bottles are sold at very reasonable prices and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The only remaining classic brewery in downtown Brussels, is a place real beerlovers can´t miss. Great experience wandering along the brewery on your own, seeing all the equipments and cellars. Great degustation to end the visit, where you can ask Pierre Van Roy about the great lambics they brew.

Been there several times since I was 18 - I am 32 now. And I have seen the growing interest in this little diamond in the big city of Brusseks. There’s always a warm ambiance and the Van Roy family and their passionnate employees are there to give the best possible service. Incredible brewery, incredible people, incredible beer!

Visita molt interessant a una Brewery que t’aboca a temps històrics en el mon de la cervesa. Entens per que una Cantillon es tan especial. La visita te l’has de fer tu amb un paperet que explica on ets a cada moment, jo ho prefereixo a anar varis en grup. La maquinaria es la original i s’entén perfectament el procés. Imprescindible!

If this isn’t a perfect score, I don’t know what is. I have never experienced a more incredible beer mecca than Cantillon itself. The self-guided tour, initiated by incredibly friendly and passionate guides/brewers, lasts as long as you’d like. The barrel room, with its one-of-a-kind ecosystem that allows for the proper aging of lambics, is one of the most beautiful sites a beer lover’s eyes will ever behold. The only regret I have about my trip to Cantillon is not buying more of their world class beer when I had the chance. I hope to return soon.

How can you not love this place. An open-house brewery where you can wander around freely, speak with the brewers and passionate employees and have a taste at the source of the last traditionnal lambics produced in Brussels. Plus, you get to meet some cool travellers and fill your bag with discounted bottles and cool gear, which contributes directly to keeping this world heritage site going. One-of-a kind.

Been twice, had a brewery tour both times, the second one guided. Very basic tasting room (although upstairs is a posher one, for invited guests or pre-booked parties). There is a small bar area as you walk in and a larger bottle and bits counter for taking away further into the room. As you walk in the serving area to your left is where you get your tasters after the brewery trip, or if you wish to try any other beers they produce. I was unhappy on both visits to find few beers on offer, both for drinking in, or taking away: although what I had was fine. I am not a fan of Cantillon’s style of brewing, but that didn’t stop me enjoying others around me pontificating about how wonderful they are to them! This isn’t the sort of place normal tourists come, beer geeks only (and friends).

Una cerveceria única para visitar, conocer el proceso de producción y degustar las diferentes (excelentes) cervezas de éste único productor. El servicio es excelente, ya que a pesar de que el recorrido lo hace cada quien, con una pequeña guía entregada al principio, los propietarios de la misma, están a la disposición para cualquier situación que se ofrezca. El precio es minimo, en comparación de los que se ve y lo que se aprende. En general una excelente visita para todos los a,amtes de la cerveza que se encuentren en Bruselas.

Museum? Ok, I guess so. But only because it is an old brewery, which is basically what it is, an old brewery. But that is the charm of the place, nothing has changed in many many years. Basically a barn/workshop. The staff here are a different bunch, very knowledgeable but obviously tired of the ratebeer types. Prices are better than anywhere but don’t expect to walk out with anything rare. If they have a rare it will be available for purchase on site, to drink on site. Great place to see once and twice if you are in the area for something else.
