Layout is typical Central Market. Nice part of town with a good sized parking lot. Service is typical CM as is the food. Selection seems to be good with a bunch of TX breweries I hadn’t seen when I lived in North TX (about a year ago). Nothing too exceptional. My one complaint is that there is almost a complete lack of singles, even when compared to other Central Markets. (and they didn’t seem to be willing to break a 6 pack). A decent stop, but not quite at the level of goodness that the other North TX stores share for their respective areas. As a foodie, I love going here, and they have a great selection, second only to Spec’s Downtown, the holy grail of Houston beer stores. This place is more pricey than Spec’s but they have Spec’s beat on most foodie delights. Very knowledgable beer staff. | daniellerose7 (7), new york, New York

Good selection here of beer and wines. The head guy in the booze department is very knowledgeble about beer as well. Food part is awesome, great cheese and deli selection. Prices are steep on some things, but they have a cool are where you can buy things in bulk, and get only the spices/nuts/dry fruit/etc that you need. Nice place. |
