Nice place located on a popular shopping street in Beacon Hill. I donít usually ask for service but had a question about available of a specific then was redirected towards multiple other similar beers, new craft breweries, etc. They recently got Wicked Weed which is something I was looking for. They had of course plenty of MA stuff too. Good variety of lambic too: Boon, Lindemanns, etc. They have lots of wines too, more than beers but the selection of beer is quite good. I donít know if they sometimes get special releases but they didnít have any when I was there. Their price is quite on the high side though. Lots of beers that Iíve been at other places where much cheaper elsewhere. I guess it could be because of the location. Iím sure the rent is quite expensive on this hype street. Anyway, if Iím ever again in this area, Iíll sure go again

Decent selection and friendly staff. Only made a quick stop but didnít notice any really rare bottles.

Great store. Large beer selection with reasonable prices for the city. Big focus on US-wide craft beer, and plenty of New England stuff too. Good selection of Belgians too, but not too much from other places (Denmark, Netherlands, etc.)

Itís a well laid out bottle shop that carries a moderate selection of Belgian ales and breweries closer to home in MA. I spotted stuff from Night Shift, Mystic, Enlightment and other local breweries in the region and neighbouring states. Bottles are split between singles, sixers and large bottle formats. I didnít interact with staff on this visit but they were polite to greet on entering the store. Iím sure Iíll stop by again to pickup bottles before leaving Boston and prices seemed reasonable for the area. Fun place to browse the stock.

Randomly checking my mayorships (as if it matters) and Charles Street came up! That makes me happy because itís a really good bottleshop. It also make me a little sad as every beer drinker who goes or lives in Boston should go here. Great selection and good staff. Some guy from Toronto shouldnít be mayor. Go buy some beers Bostonians.

Well located in Boston. Maybe the service is usually nice, but the guy there wasnít really helpful when we went. Not a huge selection, but some nice imports and good locals. Price are high, but decent for the area. Nice local store, but not one that worth a trip on his own.

Friendliness doesnít even begin to describe this place. I talked to one of the employees about local brewing companies for a half hour wherein the fellow only left it when a new customer walked in or he had to date something behind the counter. Really nice selection, too. I donít really give a fuck what the majority of people are saying about this place... I like it, and I will be back. Thatís all that matters.

Charles Street Liquors has perhaps the best selection of beers in central Boston although I thought the range was smaller than I remembered it when I last visited after a gap of two years or so. They have beers from local and not so local USA breweries and from other parts of the world. Itís always a pleasure to browse in here because the staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, plus itís in a lovely old street at the foot of Beacon Hill. (Last visited 27 October 2012).

Tres dťcu par cet endroit. Section de biere tres petite avec tres peu de 4 ou 6 pack. Pas de raretť ou de surprise et pas la gamme complete des lost abbeys. Ne vaut vraiment pas le dťtour.

Not a bad little bottle shop... good selection of local brews and imports as well as some Hoppin Frog, Alesmith, Lost Abbey, Avery and some other big players in the craft beer scene. Prices were pretty reasonable but the employees were to busy eating lunch to bother asking if I needed any help. No biggy wouldnít go out of my way but if I was in the area Id stop in and check it out. Nice creaky New England bottle shop.
