Can be fun to enjoy some craft beers on the patio during a nice night. Very big selection of craft beer, with some harder-to-find local stuff. But yes, prices are outrageous on some of the more premium stuff, and I’ve gotten an attitude (that snarky subtle kind) from the servers before. I and others I know have experienced slow service at the bar, as well. Edit: On my last visit here, they served a Weizenbock in a 10oz snifter, which I’ve never seen before. And then they served an Abbey Tripel in a 20oz imperial pint glass, which I’ve also never seen before. Maybe I’ve got the wrong idea, but that seems really strange to me. Despite everything I dislike about this place, the rare beers keep drawing me back... At least once a month there is bound to be something available that I haven’t had before

Stepped in with Drsilverworm last weekend as it was his prime recommendation in the Hyde Park area and I badly needed a drink. Tap list was quite surprisingly big; they had Three Floyds and other harder-to-find Midwestern choices ready to be served in the appropriate glassware, but I had to ask the prices of the beer I wanted as the menu I remembered did not catalog what each pour would cost. That being said, the bartender was attentive, cute and friendly and the food was good, not great, and not exactly worth the money paid for it, but it was a fine place to grab a bite and a drink midday afternoon in Hyde Park.

Decent pub in Hyde Park. They’ve got a pretty extensive draft selection, but it’s WAY overpriced (even for Hyde Park). Went to a special CBS tapping and it was something like $11 or $12 for a 10 oz snifter that was only filled 2/3 of the way. Service is average (at best). Food is good though. I’ll be back for more meals and a decent beer or two, but no more special tappings - they’re price gougers.

Extensive beer selection. Decent pub type food. Service is adequate. Beer snobs rejoice!
