From outside looks like your typical liquor store. I was amazed as I walked into the cooler, beer from all over the world. Their selection rivals almost any other beer store that I have been to. Prices are high, it should be expected, you are in a small town with a mind blowing beer selection. Staff was very helpful, they had knowledge on the different beers.

The staff really knows their beers and are great about helping you find what you want-NOT what they want you to buy. They have tastings on the weekends and it’s lots of fun to try something before buying it.

I live in Iowa and wanted to purchase some Santa Fe Pale Ale. I was traveling out west and noticed on the internet that College Liquors carried that product. I called and spoke to the manager, John. He took me on my word that I would show up and purchase a case of the Santa Fe beer. He ordered it and then I asked him to start stocking the Great Divide Hercules Double IPA so I could buy some of that to. John brought that in too. Of course I showed up and was a happy customer to get some great beers that I can’t purchase back in Iowa. As far as the store goes.....it doesn’t look like too much from the outside, tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. Inside they have a ton of beers and an unbelievable cold beer room with a huge variety of beers that will blow you away. I appreciate John helping me out with my special orders and the chance to experience a great selection of beers. Too bad it is so far away from me...hopefully you are close so you can take advantage of it!!

Their selection in the cooler is impressive. If they would let me I would put up a hammock and live in the cooler. Prices are a bit highish but then again, their selection is far superior to all other establishments on the western slope of CO.

Wow, I could’ve easily spent a few hundred bucks here. Set in the corner of a strip mall. Gigantic selections of singles, craft and imports--many ticks to be had if one were so inclined. Plenty of breweries I’d not even heard of. I’d say 90% of the beers are in the cooler. Still had some ’08 La Folie in the 750’s for 20 bucks, 2004 Grand Cru of the Emperor ( no more 2003’s), lots of CO beers, Lost Abbey, Deschutes Butte XXI, Cantillon, Stone, etc. The guy working was nice and asked if I needed help, though I dunno if he knew too much about beer, as I started talking about La Folie in bombers and his eyes glazed over. Was very impressed finding this place on the way to Denver.

Man-o-man, Dougls88 and I made the drive, 250 miles, and was it ever worth the trip. I big coolers stocked with singles. Tons of good shit and I even stumbled across a 2003 Grand Cru of the Emperor. I will make the trip again. It is the best selection in a 350 mile radius for sure.

Wow! No one has rated this in sometime, I almost want to leave it to myself, but this place kicks ass. Over 1,000 beers in a nice walk in cooler in the back. Lots of good stuff, and some nice finds. Lots of aged things, which some might not want, but I found the place to be really awesome. Lots of Eastern European beers, Belgians, Lost Abbey, Great Divide, Stone, and other Western breweries. Simply a great place. Both Eric and my wallets were a bit thinner after this visit. I will come again soon. Thanks for such a awesome store only four hours away from SLC. I went here again; Stone, Lost Abbey, tons of British stuff, loads of CO beers...Awesome.

Probably the beer store with the largest selection I’ve seen to date. It’s been three years since I was there, but they advertised 900 beers at the time. Can’t say for sure there were that many, but the selection was really great. Loads and loads of singles. Cannot attest to the freshness, as I didn’t really look for dating on the bottles. I remember picking up quite a few beers from this store that I had to add to the database. Staff was almost nothing but college kids, so I’m certain as far as beer knowledge, you are on your own. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re in the area.
