decent place, but not great. However, they do make a few really tasty beers. The food is so-so (patty melt) and the service is just above average. usually have about 12 beers on at a time with a couple guest taps. The easiest way to get there is to take the water taxi from the SD convention center and just walk a couple blocks. It was fast and inexpensive because parking can be a bitch on the island.

Ambience a bit lacking during a weekday lunch and decor is standard brewpub. Selection of CBC beers represents most styles and the Idiot IPA and Black IPA I had were very good. Had the ahi sandwich seared, but the fish wasn’t fresh enough to be served that way and the waitress should have known that. Service was quick and attentive, prices on the high side, which you’d expect for Coronado. I’d visit again and would like to go back in the evening.

Cool looking place with a tasty selection of their own crafters and typical California cuisine. Enjoyed the experience except for one thing. "No pickle on my plate please...". Couldn’t get that one right. :( Flicked that pickle right out into the street! That aside, I recommend this place for a nice evening and great views of San Diego.

Arrived before opening time, but were invited in inspite. And had a really good chat, about the beers and the history. Early in the day, parking was plenty. Situated in a nice area. We had 6 new beers - that we hadn’t earlier had bottled. Interior is your brewpub in the better end with stone floor and dark wooden bar, with some of the brewery visible.

This place was a little more commercial than i was hoping for but they had some decent beers and my buddy got some good food. I will probably go back at some point...but not before checking out other places.

Hit it during happy hour. The BA stout was out. :( Got 3 new beers - one not on the site! Staff was very accommodating. Made change so I could feed the meter (25 cents/hr). The happy hour menu was a good value, and the food was indescribably delicious. Service was way over the usual I see in brewpubs. Cannot recommend this place too strongly. Building has a metal roof and louvers instead of glass for windows. Great venue. 15 beers on tap.

Nice brewpub in Coronado. A touch upscale but it is Coronado so it kind of goes with the territory, I was there on a Monday at Lunchtime and it was not that busy. The service was good. The food was also good. Their beers are pretty much solid BJCP Standard beers. The mild I had today was very drinkable and went well with my grilled ahi sandwich. I would come here again.

This is a good place for family. Good atmosphere and not too loud. It also boasts a good selection of their own brews of which the Islander IPA is my favorite. It is a good IPA and very standard. You won’t find anything too out of the ordinary, but combined with all factors considered, this is a good place to be. The best way to get there is by bicycle either over the bridge or around through Chula Vista.

Nice place with a really long wait, but they let us order an appetizer at the bar and delivered it to us out front while we waited. Typical bar/restaurant setting. Food was pretty good, the beer ok. Worth a visit since it is on Coronado Island just before getting back to the ferry.

Crossed the bridge from San Diego to get there. Very appealing on the outside and clean, small and inviting inside .... they have a nice fireplace and cozy seating area .... the bar is a decent size and they do sell some tshirts, glasses, paraphernalia.... I had fish tacos they were excellent and not overpriced ... the beer was a little disappointing and the service was average .. Walked back to the brewing area and it is much smaller than I had imagined ... a few blocks away you can get perfect pictures of the USS Midway and downtown San Diego
