70 What a delightful little place, an absolute gem in the Budapest scene. Six beers on tap from various craft breweries, but the impressive thing here is the bottle selection. Plenty of local craft and international classics. OK, it's a shop, and fridge space is limited, but that just means you'll quickly learn to come for the taps and leave with the bottles. Prices were a little higher than other places we'd been to, but not worryingly so. Staff was friendly. Must-visit place. |
98 I understand why this place is top rated place in Budapest. Felt home immediately. 6 taps and lots of beers. Staff knows about beer, we had a nice chat.
Must visit place in Budapest. |
76 Visited June 2023. Small bottle shop stuffed with many cans and bottles. Nice service, not quite knowledgeable though. Ridiculously expensive, like Scandinavian prices. Selection is quite impressive, what I have seen, international top crafts, for horrendous prices. Also many local Hungarian beers (Mad Scientist, Raketye). There are also some taps available. Your place to go if you are willing to pay such prices. |
76 Visited 10.06.23. 6 beers on tap - two Belgian sour beers and the rest Hungarian. Fine selection of Hungarian and international craft beer, including many fine Belgian sourd. Prices were on the steep side. |
90 2020 : Absolutely lovely place. Totally stuffed smaller place with kegs, crates, bottles, books, memorabilia everywhere. More comforting messy living room feel than anything else. Fridges with beer & bottles, some very good prices, wide and eccentric selection. Tables, comfy chairs, locals largely here. Six taps of interesting choices not limited to Hungarian beers. Lovely service. Charming, lovely messy, good selection, really great place. |
68 A beer shop with some taps in the area with quite some other beer places. Vintage look, decent selection, prices are typcial. |
62 Fantastic selection but the prices are just ridiculous. |
76 Bottle shop with a large selection of Hungarian beers. Most of the imports aren't refrigerated. Prices are OK for Hungarian stuff, but the exports are pretty expensive. For example, some Serbian beers are going for 7 euros while in Serbia they cost around half that. Unfortunately, it's only open until 10 pm, and closed on Sunday. There's some room to drink in-store. The staff are great, which seems to be the standard in Budapest. |
