Decent bar popular with the student crowd and fairly busy. Not a place to have a quiet beer, but nice for a lively atmosphere and a decent beer. The selection is mostly Belgian standards, with some Dutch beers thrown into the mix. Good service even considering the crowds.

Well known beer bar in Groningen, but not the best. After all the recent developments in the Dutch beer culture it’s strange this bar list so little Dutch beers. The other beer bars in Groningen (Koffer en Toeter) do a better job. However, the atmosphere is nice.

Very nice bar, the best I’ve found in Groningen. Hard to find at first, but you won’t forget it’s location once you’ve been there. Good selection, nice and helpful bartenders. Good atmosphere.

Nice place to hang out during the week. Has a good selection on beers (draught and bottles) on reasonable prices. I realy enjoy my time there. Only bad thing is that it gets very busy during the weekend.

My favorite place to go whenever I am back in my hometown of Groningen. Nice pub, little outside of the main walking streets so you have to know where exactly it is. Also has a nice square named after the pub itself to sit outside. Selection is great with some special beers on tap.

Good pub in centre of Groningen. Always crowdy, been there some times at different moments. Good selection of tap beers, always something special from the ABT, amongst other ones. There is a terrace at summertimes, quick service from the nice waitresses and waiters.

Nice place to have a beer when you’re in Groningen.
