Great selection of beer and decent atmosphere, early in the evening. Watch out for seedy elements in this place, they need a bouncer or something. I had a half-drunk beer taken off my table while I wasn’t looking. The bar staff warned us about pickpockets and thieves. The area around the bar isn’t particularly safe for tourists either, I saw a nasty fight and no police anywhere to be seen. This place was so amazing that I started looking at For Rent signs nearby the very next day. Delirium Cafe is one place every BA member should visit once in their lifetime. I’ve been twice and it still isn’t enough.
Game Plan - Eat a very heavy meal of fries, crepes and chili before going. Wear comfortable shoes and layers that you can peal off because it’s hot in this place. Then, try not to freak out too much as you browse the 50 page book of 2500 beers available at any time. Then, drink and drink and drink. Leave the place, drink a gallon of water, get some food and then drink some more. It’s that great!
Delirium Cafe is known for their beers but there’s also rooms in this tight alleyway that offer other things. The 2nd day I went was spent in the Tequila, Rum, Vodka and Absinthe bar also owned by Delirium. Liquor geeks should carry cash with them and try not to end up in the hospital because it’s easy to abuse your comfort level of beer drinking.

Unbelievable wide selection beers. They have a book-liked beer menu, hard work to choice your next one;-) Friendly and professional stuff. If you do not like crowded places you should avoid this place...But the beer life is really powerful here. What the hell can you say, this place got crazy. Arrived after closing out another bar, brussels is a shit hole just as an fyi. Bar down a cobble stone walk way with teens puking in the streets. I think i saw a 13 year old at the bar. Excessive everything, beer list was long but standard, hung till after 4. Bartenders were rude, hitting on drunk girls the whole time, and breaking glass after glass on the floor. Brussels is crazy, trashy, and fun.
