its the place to try some beer! sorry i might just be from canada, but notnihg that i know or that i can compare it to is equivalent or can even reach the selection of the place. Maybe its the time or the friends or the ambiance while i was there, but its one of my best place in the world for beer.

Loud and touristy but well priced given their position in the city. The beer list is crazy. Most people were drinking Duvel. They probably are intimidated by the list. Totally worth checking out, outside the expected rush hours. Mostly safe beers on draft, but book of beers is great.

Excellent selection. Probably the best in town bar none. But I don’t like smoky bars or throbbing music. The Japanese Delirium crew was pretty hilarious and loved the quiet in the early hours in the basement.

This place is great in terms of the amount of beers on offer, but it does get very hot and crowded. They have a select menu of beers at the bar and on the tables, but if you want the comprehensive menu, then you need to ask for it. As you’d expect, some of the beers are not always available, but so much choice, you’re sure to find something you want. In my experience, it’s better to visit earlier on in the day, before it gets too crowded.

A must stop for draft belgians. many many taps. many things you may not find elsewhere. reasonable prices. very large bar that can get crowded. a little disgraceful that they’ll sell you 2L of a high quality belgian in a boot, nevertheless unique.

Big and popular bar right outside Grand Place. Three of the beers I asked for were no longer available but they still hooked me up with Faroe Islands and Ecuador. So respect for that. Can see myself returning many times.

NOt as crowded as I was fearing, maybe I was a little early and concentrated in the tap bar.

2004 beers in it’s full catalogue is pretty impressive. We were there at around dinnertime, and we found a cosy seat where we had some rare beers at good, but not great value. I was impressed by the fact that the guys could recommend something out of the top of their head. Nice place, very touristy, but it’s Brussels, what would you expect?

Kind of a tourist trap, to be sure. But I was a tourist, so who am I kidding? I went to the place with a cute girl and we had a blast. She had the Delirium, appropriately enough, and I can’t recall what I had. Something cheap, I know that. We drank in the early afternoon and there were not many other people in the bar, so it was a nice, intimate occasion. Overall a great experience and a very decent bar.

I do not understand why this bar has a star! Big menu, but not quality it’s a money factory!
