I wish this place was open at night. Everytime I come by here they are closed, and I feel like I just missed them because it was only a few minutes after closing. One of these times I will write the hours down and make a special effort to come by when they are open because I really like a few of their beers.

Visited 07Jul2007. Good food. Good meat selection. Beer selection was good. Their IPA is very good. If you are going near Centralia on I-5, stop and check the place out.

11 of their beers on tap. Service was very good, food was excellent...a must stop on your way by, even if it is off the main road.

Wow what a find. In the middle of no where there’s Dicks. A great little place for a easy to get German style lunch. The little pub with good beer and food. The people serving where very nice and busy and the brewery was small and soon to be relocated. This is a must see on your trips up and down I-5. Great times. They have a ton of beers on tap you can only find at the pub. They also have all sort of tee shirts, and such to sell also. Be sure to get some Lava Porter it is very tasty along with the IPA the brewers uses Dick’s fresh hops from the home garden. Talk to Dick he is a character and then some.

This was my second time to come here. The first time I only got beer to go because I was sick. This time my wife and I got a sample tray (which had 11 beers!) and some sandwiches. The smoked roast beef sandwich was great and so was the beer. All the other smoked meats looked good as well. And the staff was friendly too. Anytime I’m in the area I will check this place out. While we were there they told they are opening a new larger brewery down the street but they are keeping this place as a retail outlet for the beer and meat.

I love the beer, so it’s hard for me to be objective. It’s like going into a place that is one part deli, one part specialty meat shop, and one part seriously tasty beer. I liked it a lot. We sat outside and enjoyed delicious sandwiches and even better beer. Indeed, the XXX pepperoni is some seriously hot stuff. Good thing I had plenty of tasty Dick’s beer to wash it down with. Dick happened to be there so we got a tour of the brewery. Nice guy, nice place, beautiful beer.

Down an old road, this place looks like an old cabin. Parked in the gravel lot and walked in to a deli-sortof place. There were a few coolers of bottles, almost all of the bottles, and a few taps as well. Only one seasonal or one-off available on my visit, but the pepperoni sticks were very tasty, and what they called the XXX Hot was actually pretty darn hot, which is a rarity up North.

Colorful neighborhood a couple miles off the interstate, fairly easy to find. Small parking lot, small building. Looks more like a Sausage company than a brewery. Inside it like a small conveinience store with beer, soda and sausage but there’s a small extention with tables and you notice 9 taps behind the counter. They have almost all of their beers available in bottles. You can buy them any way you want them, singles, sixers, create your own, cases, half rack. They even make a 12pack of different stuff you can just pick up right there. Not just 3 or 4 different ones, but all 12 are different. Good deal! I bought what I needed and moved on, didn’t bother with the other hubub. Looked nice though inside and the people knew what they were doing. Have to try to sausage next time!
