Pricey even off the tourist trail. Hefeweiss ok but dunkelweiss tasted thin and metallic.

The place is really good. However beers are not something special. Still would be very much worth of your visit.

Close to our hotel, the beer wasnít great, the place was super busy. The Weizen was passable, the bock was a Maibock and under attenuated and the Christmas bock was only slightly better. If coming to this establishment stick to the wiezen

Large rambling place with several bars/taps. Outside seating. Their house beers were solid, but not exceptional. Also have Trumer Pils on tap. Was there in late afternoon during the week. Was pretty quiet and the neighborhood was quiet too. Iíd go back again.

Small biergarden and a large inside place. No real service. Expensive beers. They had 6 from draught and only 1 of them being their own. Pretty mediocre overphenolic wheat beers. 4-5 Euro a bottle. One of the three brewpubs in Salzburg so of course a must swing by but the least interesting.

I like this place a lot! The location is divided into a part with traditional interior and big tables and a part more like a bar for a younger audience. Both are really nice. They also have a beautiful, classic beer garden. Food is traditional and very good, staff is friendly. Their beer isnít extraordinary, but still good and one of the better Weizens in Austria. Recommended!

Had a good time here. The beer isnít the best Iíve had in Austria but a brewpub should always be promoted. Atmosphere is nice, great garden and itís a big place. Lot of reserved tables too. Had three beers at the bar, staff speaks English well.

Very slow service but I got what i came for at last.... Only 3 of 5 taps with beer and only the regular. (Max, hell and original). Bottles to go and they had many. A Little expensive. Still maybe the best place to get interesting beerstyles in Salzburg.

The dark Weissbier is quite ok. The restaurant has lost a lot of itís beer culture over the years, it has become a very normal restaurant/bar. Not bad, but can be missed.

Slightly backstreet, off the hotel district on the opposite bank from the Old Town. A petite biergarten with more space inside. Good range of traditional dishes. The gimmick here is that all the house brews are distinctly different takes on wheat beer, including one that is an all-barley brew fermented with a wheat beer yeast. Hard to rate but definitely worth a visit.
