By appearance not really a place you would readily stop at if you didnt know what was inside and you would NEVER expect to find what you would there. Messy. Not exactly clean or maintained that well. Was looking for something their website said they carried (maybe they once did but not anymore). Stood in a section looking for very long time..no help. I asked for help; he didnt know but went and asked someone else. (Did not give me correct info - I did my research prior) Otherwise I grabbed some good finds. Will go back for the import selection.

A regular reliable stop every time I’m in Milwaukee. They have the best selection I’ve found and carry more of the hard to find beers that I can’t get in Colorado...

Great selection of stuff. Lots of harder to find imports and a good selection of upper Midwest domestics. Some things (imports) were a bit higher priced, but the domestics were fair. Pretty great service. Fantastic shop.

Selections always vary from store to store, but this is by far the BIGGEST beer selection in town.

Really solid bottle shop, especially for local stuff (WI and MI), but a nice big Belgian section too. Glad I went. Good prices.

This place had a great selection especially Belgians. Prices seemed fair. One of the owners came over and chatted for about 5 minutes about the selections. My only complaint is that they don’t have a lot of local single 12 oz. bottles. I was able to find a few but most were in 6 packs.

Stopped by recently on a trip up to the Milwaukee area for a wedding.

Looks like complete crap from the outside, but don’t let that fool you. Go inside and look at the beers... don’t let it fool you!

Nobody spoke to me once while I was in the store, but the checkout lady was nice enough, I suppose. Mainly the store is full of people ordering case after case of booze. The announcements over the sound system got old fast.

Awesome selection by any standards I’ve seen in Florida. Tons of Shelton Brothers stuff. Mikkeller, Fantome, and 3 Fonteinen are just sitting on the shelf, as well as a classic Wisconsin selection (everything under the sun). I was able to get Buffalo Trace BA Mikkeller Black, and many more.

Prices seemed fine for what they had.

Overall, if you’re at the airport and don’t have much time, like I did, this is your stop. I ended up spending way more than I should have!

Got to visit this store today and was not disappointed, well except for the questionable location and kind of run down store. Selection was great, so much good stuff there that it just gets too hard to choose. The beer selection was a tad better than the Waukesha store, but the glassware selection was best in class. Goose Island pint glass for $2, thank you very much. Service was almost non-existent like the other store which is fine but the checkout lady was nice and boxed up my beer and glass for me.

Discount is head and shoulders above the rest of the beer stores in Milwaukee. It is a former grocery store (with minimal updates) that has been converted to a huge liquor store. Their selection is amazing. They generally get large quantities of new releases and therefore with have "overstock" of uncommon beers. For example, you may be able to grab a NG Unplugged or Tyranena Brewers Gone Wild from the previous year. The service has always been great and prices lower than anywhere else. I drive across town frequently to come see what’s new. I don’t think I’ve walked out of there with less than $50 worth of beer Go there if you’re in Milwaukee.
