This is my local brewpub, I have been going there since 2000. I really feel their standards have dropped when it come to beer. Prior to the Fire in the Kitchen I enjoyed the beer and food. Upon reopening the Food was excellent and the beer was so so. I was very disappointed. I have 4 Growlers from here that will never hold product again. I am very very saddened by this development. I only drink two beers here which are good. Twisted Kilt and Serum IPA. I will keep trying but I don’t expect much. I think they have AMERICANIZED all the beers they create at DuClaws.

The beer although good, was nothing exceptional for a brewery. Not a bad place all-around.

Great food and amazing beer. Their beer is very much above average for brew pub standards. I have been consistently impressed with their offerings. Happy prices are awesome-$2 pints. Bel Air location is great, good service, good place to stop by after work, as I often do.

I’m a long time Duclaw customer, can’t begin to count how many times I’ve been there. The beer is always excellent some may not be to my taste, but it is well-crafted. The restaurant portion of the facility however, has some problems. Perhaps it is a result of my having visited so many times over the years, but lately the menu selections have started getting a little wierd. A previously great crab dip replaced with a crab dip the has granny smith apples? This is still Maryland, hon. No need to dress this stuff up, just put generous amounts of crab meat, a little cream cheese, some Old Bay, and heat and serve! But I digress G. Service is spotty, some servers are great and knowlegable, others are indifferent. Bartenders are pretty efficient, and if you are there for beer, it is a great happy hour. I suggest sticking to simple fare, sandwiches, wings, burgers (although those have been burned on occasion), and get some of the best beer in the mid-atlantic region.

Large bar area, much bigger than other locations I’ve been to (Arundel Mills & Bowie), would make this a great gathering place. Modern decor, but not too funky/far out. Duclaw beers, what else do you need to say? I like that you can get anything on tap in a growler, no restrictions f/seasonals. Good happy hour specials & good food. It’s definalty worth the trip.

Located in a strip center. This location has a more conservative and trendy motif compared to Bowie and Arundel Mills locations. I like the very long bar (longest of all locations), which is perfect for me since I eat at the bar. Great happy hour specials on M-F, with cheaper appetizers and $2 off pints. Menu is the same as the other locations. Food is good considering the price you pay. Same beer lineup as the other locations, with around 8-10 beers online. Beers are solid and they offer growlers to go.

I visted DuClaws (Belair)on a slow sunday afternoon ( 40 minute drive) . It is very large with nice size bar. Plenty of room. Plenty of parking. Bartender was nice and new the basics about the beer. Food selection was like a typical pub, I had a sandwhich which was good. Only 7 selections of beer on tap. No vintage bottles. You can take home growlers, which were a cool old school growlers. Over all a very nice time. I would go back again.

I went to DuClaw’s in Bel Air for my friend’s birthday. The food was great, they offered several different unique brews, and they also had a bar-type setting on the other side that was decent

Great brewpub. Very modern interior that makes a lot of fuss about the beer, but its aloud because the beer is great. Although the blond ale is more for the masses, but the porter, brown ale, apa, etc were amazing brews, all having a very clean aroma that I could have just smelled all night. I liked the feel of the lights on top of the booths and thought it was a pretty relaxing time. The food was very good, but I didn’t like the medal bowl my salad came in (minor issue). Service was good and not bothersome, although didn’t offer much in the way of beer advice. I got the sampler anyway. 8 different beers of tap and I always love seeing beers lined up in samplers just something about the many colors of beer that makes smile. Great brew pub, will definitely go back in the opportunity arises

The original DuClaw. Same great beers as every other restaurant. Same great food; the appetizers are great anyway. Interior is not as nice as the Columbia location. Still a terrific place to visit. Jim Wagner always keeps an ecclectic, tasty lineup on tap.
