Lively place when we visited on a Saturday night. Good service, broad selection. Worth a stop.

Nice bar located in Dunedin, just a short walk away from 7venth Sun and Dunedin brewery. They normaly have some pretty nice taps, but it can somtimes be hit or miss. Most of the staff knows there stuff and most of them are pretty friendly.

Visited a few times by myself, and with CCB crew. Just a stone’s throw from Dunedin brewery. Nice location, with decent draft selection and plenty of local brews which is always a plus, inside a little too dim. I like the ambiance, and always liked coming to Dunedin which has more of the small village type of atmosphere compared to Tampa and the rest of the Bay. Prices are decent, friendly owner, not sure how it is with other bartenders and always run into familiar faces.

(Visited 06/2011): Dunedin House Of Beer is located in Dunedin just north of Clearwater on Broadway, very close to the ocean. There is a small lot in front of the plaza. The interior is dark with the bar on the right side. A large board displaying the beers is directly facing the seats, as well as a couple TVs. House Of Beer houses about 40 taps, including selections from many Florida breweries such as Cigar City, Swamp Head, Cold Storage and Dunedin. Other craft breweries like Southern Tier, Rogue and Dogfish Head are present too. Honestly not sure if they have anything in bottles. Service on a weekday post-lunch afternoon was pretty good. The bartender did not seem like a beer expert but was knowledgeable enough about the available beers and was friendly. They also have a loyalty club. There are not a lot of food options here but they do carry some snacks (seafood cracker dips are interesting) and microwaved pizza. Overall this is a good little spot to get some good regional beers not too far from Tampa.

RUDE STAFF, Made us feel like we were doing them a favor by spending our money there. Owner is a real nice guy, but he needs to choose bartenders more wisely. WE WILL NOT RETURN!

Cool enough pub with a respectable tap list of 40 or so. Few cigar cities, unearthly, some locals - mixed with typical macro stuff. Nice place to hang out after a spring training ball game.

Not sure about this place. WE came in the back, parking is better there. Smaller somewhat darker place with a few games. Hapy hour 2pm on a monday. Bartender was somwhat rude and boastful; said cigar city wanted to have beer named after him, made especially for the bar. I asked about the ape IPA and he inferred it was probably more than I could handle. I told him to give it to me and he ssaid ’tuff guys, eh?" Also was going on about how he hated wheat beers, my favorite so I just kept my mouth shut. He also said the nargsset was his most mild beer but I also spotted genny and stella artois there. Other than Mike, this place had some 40 beers on tap and I had no trouble finding a few new samples to rate. However, if your just a plain quiet beer nerd, I’ve been to biker bars that were somewhat nicer in personality.

Fantastic place. Great selection. Friendly regulars. Warm and generous owner/bartender. There’s really nothing not to love about the look and feel of this place. One of the highlights of our trip to the Tampa Area.
