Edison’s Pub is in my old stomping grounds of Tremont. Used to walk here a few times a week back in the day. This is exactly the kind of pub I miss in San Francisco. Not that SF is lacking in pubs or watering holes, but there is some kind of magic spell that Edison’s puts on me that keeps me coming back when I visit home. One thing that really surprised me is the quantity of quality beers offered in bottles including selections from Lagunitas, Bear Republic, and Brewery Ommegang. Some of these on tap would be nice, but just having them in bottles is enough. My only disappointment, which is relatively minor, is no more "crabby cakes" at Edison’s Pizza next door. A huge plus is the popcorn to help absorb the alcohol.

One of my favorite places. Unassuming, friendly bar atmosphere serving a few above average draft beers with a good to great bottle selection. They seem to always have buckeye hippie IPA on draft, a superb local IPA. The bottle list is well above average and overall very reasonably priced. Their pizza is some of the best in town in my opinion and can be bought by the slice from the window to the adjoining Edison’s deli and pizza. A great local bar. Deli sandwiches and wings are great as well.

Went here on a tuesday night- 3 dudes sitting at the bar and 2 people playing darts in a seperate room. The place has a lot of character. Old hole in the wall feel when you first walk in. Some bikes and other art on the walls. The outdoor patio is really nice. Had A fountain and topless mermaid paintings, which was nice. They had buckeye hippie ipa, hazed and infused, guiness, labatt, and something else on tap. 6 tap lines, happy to see they have at least 1 local beer on tap. Connected to a edisons pizza place. We ordered a pizza to go while we drank our beer. They don’t skimp on the toppings. Pizza was good! Great ambiance and pizza, just need like 2 more solid draft offerings! They also have a big bottle selection but i didn’t really check it out.
