Well, what a place, just been to the recent Dark Ale Days festival and had a fantastic time,me and my wife borrowed a camper van and booked a pitch, which is right next to the pub in a field complete with a toilet/shower block and a wind turbine, you also notice the solar panels on the roofs, very green and a good sight to see.Lovely pub, lot’s of wood and aged character about the place, the staff are really friendly and the beer choice is excellent and in great condition at a good price, especially when their festivals are on which they have throughout the year, good music nights as well.Tried the food, and that is also very good, mostly homemade or locally produced. With the Mill Green Brewery onsite producing some great and interesting beers this place is one to remember and i hope to return soon.

A proper country real ale pub. always 9 or 10 ales available. regualr beerfestivals held in the beer garden with camping available. food is home-made and very good, and the ’green’ credentials are second to none with a wind turbine and micro brewery on-site.
