To give this place it’s full name - Una casa de GB GB El Nubichinom! On a street row of tiny hole in the wall bars this place is basically a large closet...tiny, absolutely tiny. 4 beers on tap when I was there. Owner speaks good American English. Decent prices. Odd ball but good as part of the Saguragicho/Bashamichi pub crawl.

Very cool tiny standing bar in a slightly dodgy, but very colourful and interesting area of Yokohama. Inside you can get about 6 or 7 people at a push. Beer list is small but it’s all Japanese micros and quality was lovely. Barman is friendly and speaks very good English. This is the kind of place I would go to all the time if I lived here and I wish there was somewhere like it as interesting and cool in London. Little bit hard to find but it’s not far from Baird Bashamichi Tap Room.

Tiny standing bar in the shady area of Yokohama. Strange hours. Scenic view of a filthy-looking canal. This place is a trip. The owner is a really nice guy, knows his beers and cheese, and speaks good English to boot. Other customers were friendly and fun while I was there. The selection was a bit of a downer when I went, with 3 fruit beers, but I suppose it is usually a bit better. Owner kind of apologized. Great cheese selection. Got a free sample of some great stilton. Definitely worth a stop.

Not sure if you’ll even squeeze 10 poeplein there. Great tiny place wiht interesting laid back grungy vibe. Col owner but crazy name for abar! The nam eis actually a fir bit longer than this but makes little sense. Hours are something like 3-6. Weird, yes. but hen that’s the place. About 4-6 beers on tap. Japanese micros, all good quality. He now has a small 20L cask on a tbale that you serve yourself. This timeis was a UK styled bitter that was dry hopped wiht cscade (?) made by Hitachino Nest that was actually quite nice but was slowly oxidising. Has to be drunk fresh. Worht a stop off as he may have somnething special that would be hard to find eslewhere and anyway it’s an interesing, relaxing little place. food is just small snacks like nuts. Yokohama’s answer to Towers, perhaps.

Tiny (max 10 people) beer bar on a street that is totally dominated by hostess clubs and much seedier establishments. This is truly in a neighborhood that is forgotten, though not that far from Sakuragicho station and very doable from Yokohama brewery/Bashamichi Taproom. Six taps of beer always served in Belgian glasses. Four different sizes. The owner speaks English and seems to go for rare Japanese micros. Well thought out diversified selection IMO. Operating hours, I figure probably are enforced by the local "Chamber of Commerce" that doesn’t want EN to encroach on other businesses in the area, which they may or may not have some financial stake. Seems to be a hard core geek hang out with a few of the locals showing up, which makes things interesting. Certainly not your average beer bar by any stretch, but fun times to be had.
