The place is gorgeous! The beers were fine, though nothing really stood out. The food was good as was the service.

Nice, German-influenced brewpub in downtown Columbus. The interior is quite classy with high ceilings, stained-glass windows, and modern, trendy decor. Service was good, with the server helping us with our drink selection. The beer was above average - while not the best microbrew Iíve ever had, itís certainly the best Columbus has to offer. It is, unfortunately, a bit pricey with entrees toping $20 and sandwiches for $10. There was a least a decent happy-hour that offered pints (non-seasonals) for $3. If youíre in town, then this is a good place to stop.

Really cool old building with a big long marble topped bar. Early 20th century decor. Good selection of house beers and a full bar. Food menu aims high but lands a little short, almost as if the cook has one eye on the food and the other on his pocketbook.

This is a beautiful room in downtown Columbus that is worth stopping by just for the bar and the ceiling. I was there on a Saturday night and was almost completely ignored by the wait staff behind the bar. It was busy, but not that busy. The food here is great, and is a several steps above your usual brewpub fare. They have a wide selection of styles, and the beers I had were all solid. I always think of this as a better restaurant than brewpub.

The brewpub has a lot of religious windowpanes, but overall itís very nice and clean, a bit dark though. Itís got a great eye-catching sign outdoors though.
I came in on a slow time, the service was good though and the bartender was friendly.
The selection was decent, all brewed at the brewpub. I only had time for one beer though.
The price of a pint was well worth it. I didnít try any food, but the doppelbock was very fairly priced.
I would love to come here again to try the food and some more beer, I would also recommend it to those in Columbus.

This place is nice with good beer selection and good food. It is pricy, but that is to be expected for the quality, location, and selection. When I was there the place was almost empty, but I was seated in a poor spot. Also, it took quite a while to be waited on. As far as the ambiance goes there it is almost void. It may just be due to the fact that Iím used to small, squat, small-town bars, but if felt like the place had no real character. Overall it isnít a bad place to go for a bite and some brews, but it wouldnít be my goto place to hang out.

Came in on a late Thursday night after an exhausting day of beer drinking and basketball watching. Neat old theatre building, with a cool interior with wood and tiles accented by blue lighting. There was only one bartender working and only a few people at the bar. The beers are just okay. He talked us out of the sampler, which only gives you three of the beers on tap. Doesnít make for much sampling, and the price is too high. Looked like only 9 of the 12 taps were filled, which was odd. Prices were too high for drafts, too. We didnít eat, but the kitchen was probably closed by that point, anyway. Seems like a place with a lot of potential, so I wish the beer was a little better and they worked a little harder on the experience.

cool looking building, a bit plain inside but cozy... the draft list was pretty lacking, 6 regulars on draft nothing special... not worth stopping by

Elevator was a last minute stop. Hanging out at the bar for a drink with some other people I took in the downscale atmosphere which reminds me of a train station in need of renovation. The old time setting was nearly dive bar in character.
Ordering the only beer that sounded interesting (from the MBA list) I discovered that $8.00 does not always guarantee a good experience. Hopefully the normal taps are more reasonably priced. The options did not seem very exciting - your standard IPA, stout, pale ale, and so on. Having been here once I donít think I would go back unless the pickings were very slim.

Visited mid-afternoon on a Thursday. Really classic looking old school bar, tons of great wood and tile work. The bar itself is made out of carved wood, and original mirror work. Lots of stained glass in the windows, very classic feel. Service was attentive, I only had time for two quick pints so didnít have much time to chat. They had 11 of their beers on, as well as stocked bar. Happy hour had $2.50 pints, so certainly nothing wrong with that. Beers I had were clean and well made. Nice place to spend some time, centrally located to other beer spots in Columbus.
82 = ★★★Ĺ (Solid place, near the top of the list for locals and visitors)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.
