10 taps with a good mix of beers, focus on Denmark though. A rather dull room that lacks the atmosphere of a proper bar. No problem getting a seat for six late Friday evening. A bit steep prices, friendly service

Ten well-selected beers on tap. A taster of five beers costs DKK 85. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and fine background music.

Have visited here a few times now, is pretty small overall and is more like a cosmopolitan cafe than a bar. The size of the place is fine during the afternoon but can imagine this can easily get rammed and uncomfortable later on (especially when the bands they advertised play - were do they fit in there?) :) Our visits have normally coincided with tap take over events, the last being funnily enough Amager despite having just left our home (in Amager) 4 hours earlier, but great to see their awesome beers over here as well :) Prices are pretty steep for single beers here but we did utilise a tasting deal they did for smaller pours which was nice. Overall an interesting spot and worth visiting if you are in the area especially in the quieter times, but would overall preference some of the other venues if you are short on time to visit.

Big open room with little atmosphere. Good selection of beer, without anything extraordinary. Cheap and friendly

I felt that a rerate of this place was in order as it’s not nearly as good as it used to be. The selection doesn’t rotate as much as it used to, and prices have increased significantly. It may be the most expensive place for tap craft beer in Aarhus by now. The place itself is a café-style bar, which really isn’t my thing. The service is polite enough, but the staff consists of volunteers, who don’t know much about beer or how to serve it. The beers on tap are normally from pretty good breweries, but the beers can be in bad condition due to lack of staff knowledge. Back when it opened it was the best beer bar in Aarhus, but this place has gone backwards since then and much better bars have opened in town since. I only go for the occasional tick or their events, which can be pretty good.

Small and no frills bar which is a great spot to visit in Aarhus. Very good selection of Danish microbrews, great atmosphere on a Friday early evening busy but not crowded. Service was excellent. Very enjoyable visit. PS - The 6 board for 85DKK is a good way to get through the available range.

A small cozy bar with a decent selection of mostly danish microbrews on tap, and a small and more international selection of bottles. The taps often change. Most of the beers are high quality. Samples are available. Students receive discounts on some beers. The bartenders range from novices to beer geeks. Food consists of a sandwich and snacks like nachos and peanuts. There is regular live music, mostly jazz.

A small, well lit space serving (almost) exclusively Danish craft beers on tap. Popular with students. Nice selection of beers from breweries you won’t find elsewhere. Prices are rather high and the half-sized pours are a bit of a ripoff. The staff is sort of a mixed bag, they are volunteers and often don’t have much experience in bar tending. At least twice I’ve been served beer that had spoiled. They have live music of varying styles (though mostly pop) about twice a week. A nice spot to relax and have a nice beer.

Fairbar offers a small range of craft beer. The stuff that’s on tap is often very nice though. Small bottle selection with some nice Cantillon stuff etc. Main problem with fairbar is that it’s just too small. Sadly. If the place was bigger and had more taps I’d go there so much more. Ambiance is nice, snacks and food is very good, friendly staff, good music and a nice overall feel to it - too small though.
