Medium sized Pub/Restaurant in downtown Plano, stumbling distance from the DART station. I’d imagine street parking might be a bit hard to get on a weekend night. For some reason this place reminds me a bit of the Old Monk in food, atmosphere and beer selection. Basic year round selection of beers (with a few Texas, a few Belgian options, and typical national brand craft offerings) with a selection of a handful of rotating option (albeit only 2 when I visited). Food was a bit expensive for what it was, but was decent quality. Crowded atmosphere. Not a bad stop, but not a place to seek out either.

One of two pubs in Downtown Plano that I frequent. The Fillmore has the better food, but Vickery Park has better beer. While there is a good selection of bottled beer at the Fillmore, the tap list numbers about 12 beers but they are fairly boring. The majority of them are always on and the rotating taps are not very exciting and the bar typically doesn’t have a good selection of Texas beers, unlike Vickery Park. Still, the food and atmosphere are very nice and I do like the place.

Located in downtown Plano - laid back pub vibe with lots of dark wood. Tap selection is decent with a few rotators.

Very warm interior. Selection is not outstanding, but well thought out. Our wiatress was amazing- we were a very large group and she handled us perfectly!!

I have gone a couple of times know and enjoyed myself. Great looking place. The beer selection isn’t the biggest, but a good variety, including some local. The food was adequate for the price, and was pretty standard fare for a pub. Fried veggie plate didn’t taste homemade, but was okay, and was a lot of food. The chicken wrap was very tasty. Service at the table was nice, the bartendar was a little stand-offish, maybe more of a beer snob. All-in-all, it is out of our way, but we will go back.

Taking into consideration the dismal scene for those seeking excellent beer on tap in the Dallas area (outside of Ginger Man & Flying Saucer, it’s grim), this place was a breath of fresh air. Decent tap selection, including a rotating tap and a nice bottle selection as well. We have been several times & the food is consistently well prepared, the menu full of standard pub fare. A great place to go if you’re part of the thirty-to-forty-something crowd that prefers darker, quieter more traditional pubs. We’ll keep going back, hoping they stick around. Great location in downtown Plano, within walking distance of other respectable watering holes, so it makes for a nice mini-pub-crawl.

I went to the Fillmore Pub one night with some friends and noticed the aurora was laid back and average, this could have been because it was a rainy weekday though. The service was good I only had to flag down the bartender once. She knew exactly what glasses to use for their respective beers. They had a slightly above average selection and me and my drinking buddies found something that we all liked. After that, we had the nachos which were pretty damn good I must say. All in all, this is an okay place to drop by and hang out at occasionally.
