One of the better Bloomington restaurants with a small but nice rotation tap selection. Food is delightful and the ambiance fits that of a nice restaurant with a small bar if you just want to stop in. A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. Servers are very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely worth a stop.

Had a really nice lunch here on my visit to Bloomington, in the superb company of one of my teachers. Strange to see this place in what used to be some crappy five and dime store with IU gear. It’s certainly been transformed nicely, and the warm sienna woods and pleasant layout made it an inviting stop. Menu was pretty well done overall and the service was good. Impressive if limited tap list, with good locals, national micros, and Belgians available. MJ and I plumped for the rare mid-day brew, an Urthel Saisonniere. Fine food, atmosphere, and pretty damn enjoyable overall.

This is one of my favorites places in Bloomington to drink. Decent ambience, excellent food, fairly knowledgeable bartenders, and a nice rotating tap list. Food is top-notch, though it can be a bit pricy. They offer a solid rotating vegetarian option, as well as good pizzetas (flat bread pizzas). 10 rotating taps: two Bell’s, one FFF, one Two Brothers, one Bloomington Brewing Company, one Upland, one rotating Belgian tap, one rotating German tap, and one or two others. (The focus is local.) I have had Bare Tree (2009), Expedition, Hopslam, and 9000 on tap, as well numerous FFF (Dreadnaught, Behemoth, etc.). Pretty high quality stuff in general. I personally prefer the fall and winter month offerings. $2.50 pints on Wednesdays on about half of the taps.

They don’t have a lot of beer, but everything they have is the best, and their they rotating tap selection is insane. If you want something weird on tap- go to Finch’s. THe food is amazing but a little expensive.

Happened by on a relatively crowded night, by what others say, and a stinking 10:30 last call. Food is somewhat overpriced but ranges from good to excellent. Some good bottles but nothing rare and not too much to sneeze at on tap - maybe if I wanted some Two-Hearted or Expedition. Seems to avoid the undergraduate crowd, for the most part, and there’s a nice atmosphere with typical college-town waitstaff. Nice and close to campus. Some potential here, perhaps sitting by the warm oven in the winter months, but I don’t expect to be back all that often. Well, maybe to try the rabbit.

Update: There’s been an uptick in quality in the last year-plus (70 > 78) and I’m now likely to drop by here regularly for special finds - little kegs and firkins that find there way here from unexpected places (Founders and Bells hint a nice little pipeline from Michigan), and Finch’s holds a good chance of finding that rare gem in B-town.

Bells 2 hearted was really the only thing that i was interested in. they also had Upland which I love, just not that night. Food was way overpriced, but the duck panini was very good. They have good ingredients for sure. Their "flatbread" is pizza, i don’t care what the owners or managers say, it’s pizza. It was decent pizza with good ingredients on it but $15 for a 10inch pizza is a bit too much. Would consider going back on someone elses dollar

Pleasant, quiet ambiance. Spectacular food that all pairs well with the wines and beers served. The selection of beer isn’t huge, but is well selected. Typically a lot of Two Brothers is on tap, which is quite different for the area. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
