80 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 Iphonephan (77) Virginia | May 22, 2013 Nice outside eating area. Impressive 33 draft list with some beers you rarely see on draft ( e.g. Lindemans Faro Lambic). Available in 4 oz samples. Also a very extensive bottle list. | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 theisti (357) Leawood, Kansas | May 16, 2013 Visited mid-afternoon on a Tuesday. I was looking for a place near parking, and close to a Metro stop. This was perfect for the bill. New, modern space that showcases the draft the system to the left and the pizza to the right. There are about 10 bar spots, and a whole bunch of tables. The draft and bottle list was solid, and the food smelled really great. Service was prompt, overall this place fit the bill. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20 Travlr (999) Washington, Washington DC | January 15, 2013 I liked this place. Kegs and bottles are visible on your left as you walk in. Both tap and bottle lists are large and include some unique offerings I haven’t seen elsewhere. Flights and individual samplers are available. The pizza was OK, and there is a lunch special of a personal pizza and a salad for 8 bucks. The larger entree salads were creative and very flavorful. I came for lunch, but would return to explore the beer list in the evening. | 74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 radagast83 (104) Fairfax, Virginia | November 16, 2012 I’ve been here for a few happy hours over the last few months. Aroma upon entry last time was that of nice fresh pizza dough. Like the music selection - very interesting. Wait staff is a mixed bag - some are great, some are too busy to really give you full attention - a few orders were mixed up, but I was content with my brews regardless. | 74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 DiarmaidBHK (548) Pennsylvania | September 9, 2012 My sister and I have been to the original location in Leesburg a lot so we couldn’t wait to try the new location. It’s located in a part of Residence Inn right across the street from some sort of Navy building which has a convenient parking garage. Everything is bigger here: more space, more menu items, 3 times the taps with a couple on cask. It caters to the young professional crowd so it’s a lot louder on a Saturday night. Thus the service wasn’t quite as attentive as the other one. The
Pizza is as good as the other location and they do a good job of stocking local craft. It’s a solid place but I don’t think we’re giving up Leesburg anytime soon. | 72 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 13/20 JoeinEscazú (268) San Jose, Costa Rica | August 31, 2012 Met here for a couple of beers and liked the selection, especially the cask option, although beers were generally on the extreme side for hot mid-summer. Big open, modern place with a long bar. Beer cellar on view through windows. Friendly service. | 82 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 16/20 Thorpe429 (58) , Illinois | May 8, 2012 First stopped in this place over the weekend after failing to make a visit since the place opened.
The ambiance is really fantastic. I love the brewery flags hanging by the bar, and the viewable keg room was nice. The steel pipes coming from the keg room and creating the tap backdrop are a really nice touch.
Service was good. Bartender was friendly and pretty knowledge. Great selection of drafts with a good mixture of import and craft. I hadn’t seen Duvel Green on tap in awhile, so was happy to grab a tulip of that.
Pricing was really nice, with happy hour drafts sitting at $3.
Overall, a really nice experience and I will most certainly be coming back. | 88 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 DonSimonsi (11) , | February 11, 2012 The beer selection here is huge and the beers I tried were in good condition. The food was great as was the service. This is a good spot to go with friends as they have large tables in the sun soaked patio. A little pricey but it makes for a great treat! | 66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 15/20 allfreej (76) Louisville, Kentucky | September 28, 2010 Went for dinner during happy hour (4-6:30 Mon-Fri). The $5 pizzas and the smallish selection of $3 beers was pretty good. They have a really nice beer list, good service, and the pizza was excellent, though I think it’s a bit pricy outside of happy hour. They had 2 beer engines, one of which was enpty when I was there, and the craft selection was really decent. |
