I like this place, especialy in summer. Great beer garden with old chestnut trees. Good food, well brewed beer and some other austrian beers. I would like the pub even more, if the would brew more different beers.

It was starting to get very busy just as I left so luckily I arrived just after opening. Only the two house brews available but the beers were quite good. The bar food was some of the greasiest I’ve ever had which wouldn’t do my health any good. Staff were OK but were starting to get rushed. It’s definitely worth a look and I can imagine it would be nice to sit outside on a warm Vienna day. It’s a shame not more house beers are on offer though.

We were there at the opening, it was not crowded. The ambience was really good, the beers were both fine. Nice brewing equipment, You can check it outside, next to the patio. If You are in Vienna, you must visit this brewpub!

Had a good time here. We visited during the day, so it was not crowded. It was ahard to get teh attention of the waitress, but once successful, the service was good. Food was pretty good, although simple, went well with the beers. Would visit again if in the area.

Crowded and busy place (Tuesday), large patio (only when the weather is nice; when I was there it was snowing - at the end of March 2009). The food looks good but I haven’t tried it. Now the service: I know it was evening, I know that it was very crowded and I know that the waitress was very busy, but to bring me three times wrong beer it’s REALLY TOO MUCH!!!

Usually just two house beers, but they are fabulous. A few guest beers as well, but I don’t bother. You will often have to wait for your beers and food, but the Chestnut-shaded beer garden is one of my favorite places in Vienna. The zwicklbier is lovely.

A weirdly positioned terrace is really popular while the rather large interior, rather dark is empty. They do offer an interesting selection of guest brews on top of their onw, well-brewed and clean products, but I don´t feel at home there and it´s a bit out of the way, so I would not go unless you have over 3 days in town.

Smoky bar. More English staff. This place was a little hard to find. After the long walk from the metro, we arrived only to learn they didn’t take credit. The waitress directed us to a bank down the street; with no bankomat, and no bankomat was to be found on the long walk back to the metro. Still there were several beers that I wanted to try. The English waitress was friendly and the food looked good. I would recommend checking this place out. Its 2006, start taking cards.

A traditional Austrian style of pub/restaurant located just outside the Gürtel close to Nussdorfer Strasse U6 subway station. Friendly service, large patio in summer, Austrian food (didn’t eat but the portions looked good), non-smoking area, ’Bier zum Mitnehmen’ (=beer to take away) and crowded (at least on Friday evening but there were many customers also on Monday evening). The house beer selection was Helles and Weihnachtsbock in December 2005 and Helles, Weisses and Weihnachtsbock in December 2007. Several bottled beers from different breweries were available too.
