Had dinner here before heading to McNeill’s. Several beers from Berkshire Brewing on draught among others. Food was "meh" and Berkshire beers are good but nothing hugely special. My wife saw a mouse running across the floor whilst we waited. Service was fine, though a bit overworked. Not a "must visit" type of place, but not horrible.

Nice place to stop if you’re heading up to McNeills. The service was fantastic. The atmosphere was a little yuppie for my taste, but not in an uncomfortable way. The food looked great and I regretted the pizza I had an hour before. Had a rack of six 4oz samples(for like 6 dollars or something silly cheap), all Bershires (which is what they’re all about), and they were pretty decent. I preferred McNeills for beer and Kips for atmosphere but if you’re in Brattleboro it is certainly worth a stop.

stopped here for a nightcap after McNeill’s. This isn’t actually a brewpub, but they serve 10 of Berkshire’s beers. Nice looking place, was pretty crowded on a saturday night. I had a flat street stout which was a blend, and not too bad. Didn’t try the food. You can see the old brewing equipment downstairs- from what I heard they may be brewing again onsite soon. Overall pretty decent for a hotel bar.

found this place over the holidays. my husband and i both enjoyed the beers. (i also liked the mixed special drinks) staff was very friendly and gave the bar a nice atmosphere. had a wide range of crowd - overall very good time.

stopped in recently...under new ownership. Lot’s of fun and good food. Beer was good, not sure what happened to those other folks. great for after or before a show at the Latchis Theatre. Recommend that they try it again. Heard that they will be online for brewing their own soon.

Food is good a great tap selection and right next a nice hotel. A well selected tap selection of BBC beers and great micros.

Stopped in with ClarkVV after hitting McNeills, on 2/18/06. Nice ambiance, I guess....almost looks like its going for the classy piano-bar look, minus the piano. Smallish bar on the left as you walk in, with 20 taps behind it most of which are BBC beers. A nice touch is the second counter/bar to the right of the down-leading stairs; several tables complete the small room. The menu at first glance with its flowing script and book presentation looks like it might promise something more than typical brwpub stuff -- but it doesn’t. Still, Clark’s soup and my wings were ok. The same can’t be said for the beer; we had 2 tap-only offerings, Milk Stout and Pils and both were too old, poorly carbonated...I may give this a shot again for other BBC rarities, but I can’t recommend it after the first visit.

Stopped in here for a quick drink while at home for the holidays. Great selection of BBC beers on tap as well as a couple Allagash. Didn’t try the food and the service could have been better, but I’ll visit again when I’m in the area.

Lots of taps. It wasn’t clear as to whether or not they actually brew their own beer as the bar tender was out of it and wasn’t even sure if they were open for business yet that day. Ambiance is typical lounge with bar tenders similar to those at McNeills.
Update 2/20/06:
Me, Clarke and muzzlehatch must have been two ships passing in the night as I was a Flat Street earlier and McNeills later on Saturday. This place has good music, but the taps seem to be up too long. Maybe there isn’t enough traffic through the place, but the Trout River, Allagash, and Milk Stout all tasted off. There are lots of Berkshire Ales on draught which is good.

Attached to the Latchis, same location as the of Windham Brewery. 10 of the taps are from Berkshire Brewing. Food is limited and not very good. Service was friendly. In many ways, ambiance seems more like a coffee shop than a pub.
