Locally owned chain of craftbeer bars in the DFW area. Nice selection of bottles. Although the tap list is large...the quality and availability of great beers can be hit or miss. Given the money spent on this type of establishment I was suprised to find them not that clean. Whenever I visit they always seem a bit like a frat crowd just passed through and the staff hadnít time to clean up yet. Nonetheless, it is a great place to experiment with a variety of beers. Also, the food is good enough but not noteworthy.

Visited on a Monday night for beers around 8:30ish. It was pretty busy, which surprised me some. This is a big loud place, featuring a pretty typical Flying Saucer layout, with tables throughout and a big bar with a ton of tap handles. Despite being parked in the middle of a generic suburban parking lot, it had a nice pub feel. Specifically, the space makes good use of open air, real comfortable around the edges. I came here for Live Oak Hefe, and was not disappointed. It was on, fresh, and delicious. Also very much enjoyed a Deep Ellum IPA. Overall, a great spot to grab a beer in this part of town.

visited a couple years ago. If I recall correctly, itís a typical Flying saucer, huge, tons of taps, industrial feel, bad service when theyíre busy, they tend to forget about you unless you are at the bar, because they seem to be under staffed.

Your typical Flying Saucer. Nice selection and deals on Texas beers on the Sunday I stopped in. $3 pints of selected brews from what I remember. Nothing rare or surprising on tap, but a nice variety including some fresh local IPAs. Food at this place is pretty underwhelming overall, but I was there for the beer.

Great selection, but it has a commercial feel to it. Staff is business-like and a bit pushy. No love for the beer or customer.
If you can get past that, great things are to be had.

Itís another Flying Saucer, what do you want? The waitresses know jack about beer and when itís crowded, you wait forever for beer. That being said, you might catch me here on a weeknight for trivia or something.

Unfortunately the smoking takes away from the total ambiance of the place. The Fort Worth location feels a bit more nostalgic as well. I understand the motivation to allow smoking however. Itís Addison and itís a crowd they want to cater to.
The service at the Addison location from the beer goddesses is superb. Bar service isnít bad either. In general though, I think the overall level of knowledge isnít near what The Moth or The Common Table are. Some of the seasoned beer goddesses though definitely know their stuff.
Selection is pretty wide, both in bottles and draft. It doesnít have the rarities of The Moth, but I also donít expect it to. The menu could be updated occasionally though to feature some new beers.
Food is actually pretty darn good. The pizza is worth having, as are several of the sandwiches. Definitely a step up from most pubs.
Overall, a worthy spot to visit if youíre in Addison. Itís probably the best beer bar within several miles.

Old-style converted house with a vast selection of taps and bottles. Attractive waitresses and good food, only a little bit pricey. Sometimes crowded and only has a cover charge on the weekend.
