Cool brewery in downtown Cheyenne. A somewhat small place. Bar fits about 6 people. Then a scattering of small tables. Music, no TVs. 8 taps, a variety of styles (including chili ale, coffee oatmeal stout, California common, export stout, and other common styles). No food but occasional food trucks (seems like once a week). A solid beer stop, check in for a lot least a pint. Prices are cheap too (for this East Coaster).

Visited on 5th November 2019. Small single room venue a block away from Accomplice. Smart decor and a friendly welcome. 8 beers on tap. Flights available and small pours. Good range of styles and the beer was decent enough. Service was friendly. Prices good. Nice place.

I have been a regular at FEBC since it's debut in Cheyenne at the "Tivoli-Bldg" several years ago, but have never gone so far as to write a review. The conundrum is that while their beer is mostly excellent--especially their "Flagship Ale '1890 IPA'" {WHEN they have it!}, they're service is anything but! To wit, the main 'barmaid' that they have "Muriah" is marginal at best. I guess that I could list dozens of times that I've been in there with her at the helm and have had a negative serving experience, however, it's easier for me to just give an overall rating of usually "downright rude". Without going into specific details, tonight, {St. Valentine's Day--of course!}, she was egregiously so, seemingly finding joy in attempting to demean me in front of other customers. If you don't believe me, just take a walk over to "Danielmark's Brewery", and speak to all the lovely people I've met there who no longer patronize FEBC because of her attitude/behavior! For nearly the 1 year, 10 months, she's been there I've tolerated this negativity, trying to 'kill her with kindness', but NO Longer! The 'pre-verbial' kid-gloves are off--as I am generous and NOT prone to write bad reviews. So please, I beg to owners/managers Tim, Adam, Shane & Joel--correct this ongoing problem that you have all heard about, time & again from other patrons, REGAIN lost integrity & prestige to the glorious pub you established, and rid yourselves of the 800 lb. gorilla in the room! All-the-best to FEBC! MJD

Enjoyed this small brewpub as our last stop for the day. Friendly staff and all in all good beers. Threw dollar bills in the ceiling for charity, fun stuff.

I tried to stop in here three years ago but they had it closed off for some event downtown. I couldn’t even get really close to the building to see inside. I had assumed that this was just some really generic brewpub. Turns out this is a pretty legit brewery with a little tasting room. A small 6 or 8 top bar is sectioned off from a few tables. One TV is up in the corner. They had maybe 8 beers on when I visited, nothing too crazy but their blood orange DIPA and coffee amber ale were really good. Full pours are $5. I was impressed, they definitely exceeded my expectations.

Funky little pub in the center of Cheyenne, featuring 8 drafts and popcorn. Friendly staff, decent beer, and reasonable prices. Worth stopping in but not going to far out of the way.

Small place just a couple of blocks from the center. L-shaped bar and scattered tables, clean and simple. Brewer was pouring. Flights of four or eight are available, and they had seven beers on tap, so I doubled up on the IPA which was very tasty. Dog and child friendly, as both were in attendance. Laid back crowd, mostly locals coming in for growler fills and folks in town for the festival. Food was free popcorn. Good friendly atmosphere, solid beers.

A local brewery that is pretty small but comfortable. Good service with the brewer at the bar. Selection was decent, with a bunch of their different styles to try. Beer was OK, but they had some fun concepts that I think will get better as they progress. Worth a quick stop if going through.

Freedom’s Edge will soon be moving their tap room to the site of their brewery (basically around the block). For another month or so they are still in the lovely, restored Tivoli building in downtown Cheyenne. Service was quite friendly and they had 8+ beers on tap with a nice variety of offerings. Pricing is a ok, but not cheap. $3 for 10 oz and $5 for a 20 oz. They offer growler fills as well. If you want locally brewed beer in Cheyenne, this is your one stop.
