Despite the wooden interior and the occasional fresco or stained glass, the ambience makes a modern, maybe eclectic impression. The service was nice, the menu partly interesting. On the look at least, as apart from the tasty mustard soup both second plates failed to make a bigger impression. Coupled with the high prices and their disappointing zwickel, this place is only recommended to hardcore enthusiasts who would go out of their way to get a beer ticked.

Quite nice place next to Frauenkirche and Neumarkt Striezelmarkt (in December). Sunday afternoon was quiet there and we had good service. 10+ beers available (Freiberger and Tucher). To be in very touristic part of Dresden the prices were quite cheap.

Touristy spot in the old part of Dresden (near the biggest tourist sights). Offers quite a few beers from the Freiberger brewery, including the hard to find kellerbier on tap (which is also availibe for take away). The beer is OK. The goulasch i orderd where perectly nice, my girlfriends vegeterian dish was however really bad.
