Nice selection of beers on tap. Many I’ve not seen to many other places. some great craft beer. the bottle selection is huge too. The biggest complaint is that there isn’t a printed beer list. I get it, you rotate the taps all the time and that’s awesome, but photcopy a few sheets with the current beers. We were at the one table that had no view of the LCD screen that lists the beers so we had to stand up and apologize our way into someone else’s table to get an idea of what beers we wanted to order. A price guide would have been nice as well. We ordered a Weyerbacher Muse in a bottle and had no idea that it was going to be in a bomber and cost 10 bucks. All the tap beer we had was between $4.50 and $6 bucks per pint. I’m definitely willing to pay for good beer, I’d just like to know what I’m paying. Food was good Mexican and the service was pretty good. Probably helps if you’re a regular. Overall, not sure if the good beer on tap outweighs some of the negatives, but probably. All the taps along the wall were pretty cool.

Great tap selection (bottle too, though we did not go there) and an easy drive from northern DC it you want something distinctly non-urban. Rather small and family oriented, nice staff, modest portions and no complaints with the burgers. One BIG dislike: Beer pricing. No printed prices and, as we found out when the check came, some premium (big city!!!) price tags. Yeah, we should have asked, but that makes you feel like a skin flint. I don’t think we’re going back better values in town.

This place can be tricky to find, as my GPS took me to the Green Turtle. I stopped in about an hour before closing on a week night. The bartender did his job, but it was obvious he was not in a good mood. This is a small, but modern bar/burrito joint inside a strip center. You can tell that it has many loyal regulars. They have some LCD screens displaying a slideshow of the owner and his trips, his family, and many shots of the customers. I thought it was sort of a cool idea that I have not seen at a bar or eatery. The beer selection may not be large in quantity, but you can tell that they focus on quality and rotate the taps quite often. I did not eat but the food looked very good. I would definitely return if I am in the area.

Great selection of NE brews...good food too. Mexican, and fairly good. Being from CA I know these things :)

Great taps (20 of them). Slection from Dales Pale, to DFH, to Southern Tier Choklat, Troegs Mad ELf, to Tommy Knockers. Food is pretty good. Little pricey for the quality and portions of food. Go for the beer, Great to have a hand pump and casks on hand all the time.

Be sure to use MAPQUEST and not Google Maps if you’re trying to find this place. If you end up at the Green Turtle you’re in the wrong spot. Frisco Grille is a really solid eatery and bar... the beer selection is very good, with high quality taps, regionals and imports well represented, and even some rarities as well - ST Imperial Oatmeal and Moorsehead Premium on cask when I was there, plus a couple of Brewer’s Art selections. The burrito was really very good, with good quality meats, melted cheese (if you get your grilled) and very fresh tasting tomatoes. Great stuff. I will be back regularly, I think.

Hidden off the beaten path in a pseudo-industrial complex, Frisco’s sits in-between a solid coffee shop and a great tailor. Live music or trivia most nights, inexpensive and reasonably good mexican-style food, plus 19 taps and a cask typically available. Mondays are Randall nights. The service is fantastic, to the point that you never think about it: you always have beer, you always have chips and salsa, and that’s how it is. The owners and bartenders and servers are friendly, and the locals are, in a word, a hoot. Their website is almost immediately updated, which is just awesome and really appreciated when you’re driving half an hour to get there. This is typically the best place I can think of outside of Baltimore to get stuff from Wharf Rat, Brewers Art, and Clipper City consistently; plus they evidently have a solid relationship with the Rogue and Troegs reps, such that they get stuff like the John’s Locker Stock releases and Naked Elf that no one else has. Great place, and definitely work the trip out of DC.

I went here last night for the first time and LOVED it! Oliver, the bar manager, was very cool. Definately the right guy for the job. There were 19 taps and one hand pump, soon to be 2, for cask ale. The taps rotate frequently, according to Oliver, but they always have very good selections. The tap lines were very clean, the beer was delicious. There is no swill (BMC) to be had on tap, just good craft beer. The food was very good with a southwest flair. I was there on Sunday night and the place was pretty quiet. I had Troegs Sunshine Pils, Gordon DIPA, Lancaster Dunkel Weisen, Green Flash Tripel, Brewers Art Resurection all on tap. They do Randalized pints on Mondays and tonight Troegs Nugget Nectar will be Randalized with Chinook hops I think. Can’t wait to go back!

Paid a recent trip to Frisco’s and I just found this place to be awesome. This to me is a beer bar at its very best. No overkill on draught selections, 19 rotating taps of local, national, and imported craft beer, 20-35 bottled beers, great service, nice atmosphere, and really great food. Their burritos are awesome, and the beers are fantastic. Special events are held featuring craft beers, and their specials and happy hour is excellent. Live entertainment too? The only knock is the fact this place is small, and must get too packed at times. This place is a true beer bar, one dedicated to those who love craft beer. I must visit if you ever find yourself in the Baltimore area.

Perhaps there’s better places to be found, but I really. really enjoyed this spot. Frisco’s had all Maryland beers(soon to change) which I enjoyed conceptually. The general manager (Noel) was our waiter and he absolutely was one of the most knowledgeable people I’ve had waiting on me. He knew all but one beer he had on tap and had good reason not to know the newest and also what was coming up and was just a nice guy in general. Highly recommended. (I had my breakfast burrito and breakfast beers there) Some decent bottled beers to go along with the taps too.
