Bof... | 48 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 10/20 andregoncalves (47) Lisbon, Portugal | October 29, 2012 Interesting selection, but not large enough. It’s a big shop, so the ambiance is more a like a supermarket one. | 40 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 3/10 OVERALL 8/20 chrisv10 (69) , Denmark | July 23, 2012 Small selection of mostly standard Belgium beers, not many French beers and the prices pretty expensive. | 48 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 3/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 10/20 saxo (114) Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark | April 8, 2012 Many different beers as one could expect in a large supermarket that is supposed to have a lot of specialties. Way better selection than a carrefour, and there are micro brews like Uberach and other beers. But mainly your average Belgian beers. | 40 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 4/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 8/20 Countbeer (137) Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, Netherlands | November 13, 2011 Wasn’t to impressed as I was more impressed by the entire building with it’s theme they had back than.
The selection is not that good, as mentioned before, some Belgian stuff and some other local things but all in all absolutely not that interesting. And pretty expensive for some of the things they sell. Wouldn’t recommend this. | 70 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 12/20 dula117 (10) , | November 2, 2011 It’s a nice place to shop and have a coffee or a drink | 40 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 3/10 OVERALL 8/20 Martinus (116) Nijmegen, Netherlands | October 9, 2011 Not much choice and overpriced. | 46 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 6/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 8/20 Lubiere (416) Ottawa, Ontario | May 30, 2011 Visited in early May 2011. Well, i tend to agree with other reviewers: a few French micros, nothing realy good, Belgian standards, Moosehead (come on guys), a bit overpriced (like everything in Paris). Next time, I’ll avoid (unless your colleagues want to go shop and you dont have any time). | 24 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 4/10 SELECTION 1/15 FOOD 3/10 VALUE 1/10 OVERALL 5/20 DeanF (43) Nunavut | October 21, 2010 This is a poor excuse for an "artisanal" beer shop - in fact after this place you’d do well to head over to the Great Canadian Pub and drown your sorrows, at least you can get Moosehead over there! All Lafayette stocks is a few Uberachs and trappists, and some of the more obscure ciders. If your wife is in here poking around you can waste some time in the beer section but otherwise it’s a waste of your time in Paris. Go to Bootlegger for Belgians or Cave à Bulles for French brews, but not this place for either. | 44 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 8/20 KyotoLefty (351) Kyoto, Japan | September 3, 2010 Not as many beers now. They have lots of stuff from Uberach in Strasbourg, but not much else of interest. Ciders also much fewer than I heard, with no ice cidres to be found. I wouldn’t even have bothered if La Cave a Bulles had not been closed. |
