When Iíve visited: A few times since moving to Toronto. What Iíve had: Wellington Shangri-la IPA, Get Well All Shook Down Rye PA, Hopfenweisse, and Pinball Wizard APA on tap, other beers, white wine for my girlfriend. What I like: Cool atmosphere, always able to find seats at the bar, servers are friendly and happy to provide samples, draft selection is tiny but well-selected, love the fact that they have cask, fair prices, like Torontoís version of Barcade. What I dislike: None of the house beers have impressed me that much, hipster clientele is not my scene, no food available AFAIK, I usually only come here if Bellwoods is too packed. Would I go back? If Iím in the area or Bellwoods is super busy, yes. Overall Rating: 66

Dark and uniquely furnished/decorated, but who cares. Draft and bottle selection excellent, house made beers also top notch. Lack of food made up for by the free arcade games. Stopped in for a quick pint but will return.

The decore here is quite eclectic, but i dig it. The old arcade games are quite cool, the old vintage 70ís strip joint signs are pretty bad ass. And the MASSIVE Stalin painting is wild. The serive was at the bar when i was there, and it was quic, polite and prompt. Didnt try any food......not even sure if they have any. a very Hipster place, if i lived in the area i would probably be in there often.

An interesting spot, the decor is sort of diner meets arcade meets funky dive bar, generally in a good way. The crowd is eclectic, skewing youngish the time we were there. (e.g. it was getting busy around 10pm on a week night when we were heading home!) The house beers are servicable and generally pretty decent. Good selection of vintage arcade games in the back. Decent selection of craft beer in addition to their own house beers. More of a local bar than a beer destination imho, trying their house beers will be the primary draw for out of towners, but well worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood. Around the corner from Bellwoods.

I like this place. It is run by people that still care about their place , not just another temp student... They have 10-12 taps mostly house brews. They also have 98 bottled beers at reasonable prices. Their Alt is one of best in America. You like 80s aracade games?- you will be in luck as they are free...

A little gem in Little Portugal. All reclaimed furniture, antiques, old school arcade ŗ la Barcade, resin covered wood as a bar. The heteroclite character of TO comes out. Three home brews on service with 9 other guests plus a cask, no food, but plenty of choice on Dundas.

Cavernous and divey spot with a bunch of mismatched furniture scattered thoughout. A few pinball machines at the back of the room and a shortish multicoloured wooden bar along one side (the bar itself is a thing to behold). A well chosen list and their own product is pretty tasty as well. Thereís a few things in bottles that are quite nice as well. A very cool vibe with some chill music playing. I imagine this place gets packed sometimes, but itís a cool spot to kill a few hours in the middle of the day. I dig it.

Great bar, nice interior which is warm and cozy thanks to candles at the tables. Great selection of craft beers, the house brewer is a highly decorated homebrewer turned pro so heís used to trying new and interesting things. The owner Jeff of Sonic Boom fame is a proper gent also.

Sorta my local, if it wasnít for Bellwoods Brewery. Have a decent selection on tap and every bottle possible it seems. Was disappointed when I asked for cask ans was told that there wasnít anything on tap. Beer bar with a tap not pouring. A bit amateur.

Strange little beer emporium. Has 10-15 rotating taps and a whole double fridge full of bottles. Some hard to find local stuff. Ambiance is like a retro arcade populated with hipsters. The first time I walked in the noise of the old arcade games was overpowering and tripped me right out - I couldnít even figure out why I was so drunk after a long night at Bellwoods. Theyíve since turned the music off so it doesnít take over the hipster music. Wait and bar staff very friendly and the bar itself was very cool - the guy who made it was having a drink when I was there and explained how it was made from hammering together dozens of strips of different pieces of scrap wood. Iíll definitely go back - good beer and free donkey kong.
