April 17, 2012 Nice uncovered patio for fair weather. Long bar with brass footrail with view onto outdoor patio. Adjacent lounge with tall tables and booth seating with view into stainless brewhouse. Six flarscreen TVs with generic sports. Ajoining dining area and open kitchen.
8 taps with standard and seaaonal draughts. Full menu includes salmon dishes and sweef potato fries appetizers.
Happy Hour 4-6:30 M-F. Crowd mostly male convention-goers. Ba kgroung music allows for conversation. No TV audio, thankfully.

October 15, 2011 Stopped by for a beer and a snack before a late dinner reservation. Sat outside. Efficient service, mediocre beer, ok food, and a very corporate atmosphere. Not very New Orleans, but good in a pinch if you’re in the area and thirsty and/or hungry. |

September 24, 2011 Nice location on Poydras street. Intimate dark wood. And then you drink the mediocre beer. They had 5 beers. The hefe was decent. Like many reviews have said if you’ve been in one Biersch you’ve been to them all. |

December 19, 2010 It’s a Biersch -- you know what to expect. Solid German-style brews and excellent food at a reasonable price. Yes, it’s a chain, but a good one. Blocks from the Super Dome and many tourist attractions, good place for a pre-game snack in December. (Brewery #522) |

June 18, 2010 Good atmosphere and great location. Beers are very good and the food is good as well. Nice spot to watch a sporting event. Easy to access from the West Bank if you take the ferry. Serve seasonals. |

December 15, 2009 This is your basic, homogenized commercial brewpub, aimed at tourists and gamblers from the casino across the street. Beer is meh and food follows in suit. I will say the brew is fresh however, with onsite brewing. |

December 14, 2009 This is a chain brewpub that brews their own beer more as a gimmick to attract customers than to actually create a good drink. The beers they make are not inspired and rather dull. The food is alright, the location is perfect for convention center/casino attendees, and it’s the best of the admittedly poor options downtown, but if you have time I’d suggest taking a trolley to the Avenue pub or somewhere along that lines. |

March 1, 2009 Generally consistent with the rest of the Gorden Biersch brewpubs I have been to. Large sports bar/brew pub atmosphere with a reasonable selection of beer and solid food lineup. The Hefeweizen we had was probably the best of the 4 sampled. Food was good and reasonably priced and definitely worth a visit when in the area. |

December 30, 2008 Not my kind of place. Nothing too special on the craft beer, no big flavors. Food okay. looks like lots of other peole liked it though, it was very busy. |
